    Unfortunately, our experience on Christophe’s boat was very disappointing. We were a group of 4, a mix of French and English speaking. At first, we were met by Christophe at the gate of his private members club, where the boat was parked. He demanded we do not speak English until we were out of the parking lot as he does not have permission to take on private tours from this private parking spot. This set our experience off in a very bad way. Furthermore, we travelled out to the sea, looking forward to enjoying our experience when we were told to pretend that Christophe was our friend - not our private tour guide, as if the police approached, he did not have the required documents to enter Les Calanques. We had an enjoyable experience swimming in the water despite the exceptionally cold temperature that day, however we felt on edge throughout the whole experience. There is no table on the boat, despite the pictures, we enjoyed our lunch on the front deck before a windy sail back to Vieux Port, where we were instructed yet again to not speak before leaving the gate of the private members club.
