About the experience
Set sail for a day that will take you back in time, diving in crystal-clear waters, tasting Dalmatian culinary excellence, and ending with the unmissable Hvar. Vis Voyage is a cruise designed for the curious, gourmets, and lovers of the sea—a perfect blend of historical exploration, relaxation, and sensory pleasure.
Departure at 9 a.m. from the port of Split, heading for the island of Vis, one of the last large islands open to tourism in Croatia. A former Yugoslav military base, Vis remained closed to visitors for a long time. You'll discover its military remains, still visible around the bay, silent witnesses to its strategic past. A unique atmosphere emanates from this stopover, between raw nature and the memory of time.
At 12 p.m., your first swim at Smokova Bay, in our opinion one of the best beaches for swimming in complete tranquility. Well protected from the winds and less crowded than others, it even hides a piece of a World War II bomber wing at the bottom of the water—a fascinating detail for history and snorkeling enthusiasts.
At 1:40 p.m., you'll have lunch in the Pakleni Islands archipelago, on the charming island of Palmižana. The local cuisine is renowned for its seafood and garden produce. Lobster, fresh fish, local vegetables… a true Mediterranean feast in an idyllic setting, acclaimed by the international press.
The afternoon continues in Hvar Town (arrival around 4:00 p.m.), an ancient town with dazzling charm. Climb up to the Fortica fortress for a panoramic view of the islands, or stroll through its sun-drenched streets. Hvar is also known for its lively atmosphere and exceptional climate. Return to Split is scheduled for 6 p.m., after a day of varied experiences: culture, sea, gastronomy, and exploration.
What makes Vis Voyage unique? It's its moving narrative: each stop tells a story, from Vis's military past to the culinary secrets of Palmižana, to the sunny elegance of Hvar. All at your own pace, aboard a comfortable boat equipped with snorkeling equipment and Bluetooth speakers to personalize your onboard ambiance. A full, rich, yet stress-free day—just the way we like it on the Adriatic Sea.
