About the experience

Imagine an ideal end to the day in Marseille: the sun slowly sets, the sea sparkles with its last golden reflections, and you embark on an unforgettable experience combining relaxation, swimming, and a gourmet aperitif. From the very first moments, the charm is felt: the sea air, the soft light, and the promise of a timeless moment.

Departing from Port Ouest in L'Estaque, this 4-hour getaway begins at 5:30 pm or 6 pm, perfect for enjoying the magic of late summer afternoons.

Once on board, head for the most beautiful corners of the Côte Bleue and Marseille harbor: between the Frioul archipelago, the wild coves of Niolon, or Méjean, depending on the day's weather conditions.

The boat glides gently between coves and hidden coves. During swimming stops, everyone is free to dive, swim, or simply relax, lulled by the gentle breeze of the end of the day.

And for those curious about the sea and sailing, an introduction to the five essential nautical knots is offered on board!
A fun way to learn the basics of sailing, in a simple way, while enjoying the surroundings. This activity is completely optional, but always very popular with young and old alike.

What makes "Apéro au Large" truly unique? It's the perfect balance between nature, conviviality, and sensory pleasure.
During this break at sea, you'll enjoy a generous appetizer platter: cured Italian ham, creamy mozzarella, and homemade pesto, accompanied by a carefully selected wine.
A relaxed atmosphere, in a small group, where you can savor the scenery as much as the flavors.

Secure parking is available just a stone's throw from the port, for easy and stress-free access. More than just a trip out to sea, it's a moment to share, a different and authentic way of experiencing Marseille... at a time when the sky turns golden and the Mediterranean offers you the most beautiful of settings.

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip aboard Christian's superb sailboat! After an initial crossing to a cove on Frioul Island, we were able to swim and eat a delicious board (with a delicious pesto ?) in an unforgettable setting. Christian was very kind and taught us a lot about the region and sailing. We definitely recommend it for a seaside getaway!

Christian gave us clear directions to the port, and we quickly boarded a beautiful boat, renovated by the captain himself! Then followed a trip filled with life experiences, laughter, and humility. The four of us listened to Christian with admiration, feeling very comfortable. We sailed to a spot on the edge of the cliffs of the Frioul Islands for a dip, cliff jumps, snorkeling, and a quality aperitif (fresh, homemade, and high-quality products). Then we set sail again to admire the sunset. Christian explained and showed us the basics of sailing. In conclusion, it was an extraordinary experience, one I would definitely do again! I highly recommend it.

Christian gave us a unique, timeless experience. First of all, his boat, which must be the envy of all of Marseille, is stunning: a magnificent Dutch sailboat from the 1970s, meticulously renovated! Then, Christian, a fascinating and passionate person, will tell you many interesting stories and with whom you can talk about anything and everything. He took us to a small, somewhat private cove near the Port du Frioul, where we swam and then enjoyed an excellent aperitif. I then took the opportunity to propose (which my beloved accepted), during which Christian left us at the front of the boat at sunset. An experience that will remain etched in our memories. Thank you again, Christian.

An absolutely unforgettable experience. Christian welcomed us aboard his magnificent vintage sailboat, lovingly restored. He took the time to explain how a sailboat works and even let us sail, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The sunset aperitif in a small cove was perfect, with quality products and a magical setting. We recommend it 100% and will definitely return. Thank you, Christian, for this unique experience.
