About the experience
Get ready to live an unforgettable 2-hour nature experience that will take you to the heart of the coastal wonders of Giardini Naxos and Taormina! On board our boat, we will set sail from the Port of Giardini Naxos for a journey that will reveal the authentic beauty, hidden caves and breathtaking views of this stretch of Sicilian coast.
We will travel along the entire coast of the bay, admiring suggestive landscapes, until we reach the suggestive Grotta dell’Amore, so called because, if looked at from the other way around, it seems to have the shape of a heart. We will then continue towards the coast of Capo Taormina, where the hotel of the same name stands, and we will admire the mysterious Grotta delle Sirene, a place steeped in charm and legends.
Continuing to sail in the waters of Taormina, we will arrive at the wonderful Baia dell’Isola Bella, a small island connected to the beach by a strip of sand that can only be crossed at low tide. Today, Isola Bella is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a true jewel of biodiversity. Our tour will continue towards the famous Blue Grotto, famous for the play of light that is created inside it, making the body of water blue and crystalline and offering a beautiful view of the seabed. We will also see the Coral Grotto and finally the Elephant Rock, so called for its unmistakable shape.
The boat will head towards the Bay of Isola Bella or Mazzarò for a stop of about 20/30 minutes, during which you will have the opportunity to take a swim in the waters of Taormina. During this stop, we will offer you a soft aperitif with prosecco and/or almond wine, accompanied by delicious almond pastries and savory snacks. At the end of the stop, the boat will head towards the Port of Giardini Naxos and, during the return journey, you will be able to admire the breathtaking landscape of the coast of Taormina and the majestic Etna that stands out on the horizon.
