The crystal clear sea of Sardinia and its beaches are undoubtedly among the most beautiful in the world. Summarizing the unique beauties present in the north-east of Sardinia is not easy in a few lines! I do so, aware that I cannot adequately list all the possible landing places that can be reached by sailboat. Starting from the Olbia area it is possible to embark on the most glamorous journey heading towards the Costa Smeralda or abandon yourself to unspoiled nature by sailing between the Island of Tavolara and the magnificent Maddalena archipelago, learn more about the culture and the enchanting Sardinian landscape while remaining on the north coast -east or north-west and/or if you feel like sailing or two weeks, sail to the south of Corsica with many other landing places. There are so many possible itineraries and for this reason each itinerary must be adapted to your needs, the time you have available and the current weather conditions. Therefore, consider this as a simple general guide that the Skipper will be able to best manage by considering and complying with your wishes as much as possible! Maddalena archipelago and reserve marina of Tavolara The ideal sailing cruise for those who want to dive into the true essence of nature: among seabeds rich in colorful fish and iridescent algae, climbs culminating in breathtaking landscapes and paths among the thick scrub mediterranean. The Maddalena archipelago, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994, consists of 7 major islands (La Maddalena, Caprera, Budelli, Santo Stefano, Santa Maria, Spargi, Razzoli) and several smaller islets, bathed by a wonderful and transparent sea. The coasts of these islands are teeming with enchanting beaches, one more incredible than the next. Among these, the incredible Cala Corsara (Island of Spargi), the Spiaggia del Relitto and Cala Coticcio (Island of Caprera), the Spiaggia del Cavaliere (between the islands of Spargi, Razzoli and Santa Maria) adjacent to the renowned and now protected Pink Beach from the exceptional color of the sand due to the crumbling of the shells of some marine microorganisms, Cala Francese (IsolaMaddalena). After wandering around the archipelago you can head south towards the coasts of the island of Tavolara, part of the Tavolara Capo Coda Cavallo Marine Protected Area and therefore rich in marine fauna. If possible, don't miss the Spalmatore beach, Le Piscine, Capo Coda Cavallo and Cala Brandichi. The latter is also called "Tahiti" for its exotic appearance: sea with multiple shades of blue, surrounded by red rocks, colors and scents of the Mediterranean scrub and light sand. The Emerald Coast It is famous all over the world for its emerald sea, its small squares full of social life and its high quality services. What could be more glamorous than the Costa Smeralda? Porto Rotondo and Porto Cervo, favorite destinations for VIPs and famous personalities, where you can wander among prestigious restaurants, luxury hotels and trendy clubs and then relax on the many postcard-perfect beaches here. Among the most beautiful: Cala di Volpe (exclusive natural marina where some scenes of the film 'Agent 007 - The Spy Who Loved Me' were filmed), Liscia di Vacca, Liscia Ruja, Romazzino, the island of the Cappuccini, Li Nibani and the island of Soffi. The Costa Smeralda means a guaranteed dream vacation for lovers of exclusivity! Southern Corsica If you have booked at least two weeks, will you also be able to cross the Bocche di Bonifacio and explore the south coast of Corsica? Does the idea intrigue you? Palombaggia and Rondinara, splendid beaches characterized by red rocks and luxuriant vegetation, and subsequently, to sail towards the Piana, Lavezzi and Cavallo islands. Isola Piana is known not only for the extraordinary beauty of its beaches, but also because it is home to numerous protected species and for the bizarre rock formations called "calanchi". The islands of Lavezzi and Cavallo, on the other hand, are famous for hosting numerous natural granite sculptures, worked by the constant action of the wind, as well as being also home to uncontaminated nature. The fascinating Bonifacio with its entrance hidden in the fjord, between the long white cliffs, offers itself with all its beauty, clubs with live music and the old city to visit. Whatever your route on Italica II, good wind!
