About the experience

Craving a more authentic slice of Formentera? This half-day cruise takes you beyond the beaten path to discover its lesser-known, but equally stunning eastern shores. From remote beaches to snorkeling spots teeming with life, this route is all about experiencing the wild beauty of the island at your own pace.

We depart from Marina Botafoch and head straight towards Levante Beach, a long stretch of golden sand kissed by rolling waves and open sea breezes. It's the perfect place to take a dip and soak up the island's wilder side. Sailing further southeast, we arrive at Es Pujols, where you’ll find a unique mix of sandy shallows and nearby cliffs—ideal for swimming, snorkeling, or even a bit of cliff jumping for the adventurous. Our final stop is Es Caló, a tranquil fishing village surrounded by rugged coastline and some of the clearest waters on the island. Whether you're lounging on deck or snorkeling along the rocks, this spot is pure Mediterranean magic.

This route stands out because it’s less traveled but no less spectacular. You’ll avoid the crowds and explore areas many visitors never see—perfect for those who want to dig a little deeper into Formentera’s natural charm. The water is ideal for snorkeling, and the landscape offers endless Instagram-worthy moments. Very nice captain who made us have a great day. Was just unfortunate that the sound system did not work

Avoid booking with these people: they are dangerous and not very serious people! The boat we found in port was the same one we booked although older than described and not well maintained. But that's nothing compared to the fact that we were given a captain who didn't know how to drive the boat. We have had several accidents with other boats and even hit a manned jet ski as he couldn't get close to the dock to refuel. We couldn't stop in the coves to swim because he couldn't anchor. Luckily we managed to arrive safely in port as I called for help and a colleague of his got on the boat to moor it as he was unable to. It was a nightmare, luckily we didn't suffer any damage. Absolutely to be avoided.
