About the experience

Set sail from Sorrento aboard the refined Primatist G50 Mireja for an exclusive tour along the Amalfi Coast, among hidden corners, crystal clear waters and breathtaking landscapes. An unforgettable experience between sea, nature and relaxation, with several stops for regenerating swims and the possibility of disembarking in Positano.

The first stop will be the suggestive Cascata della Fortuna, a natural wonder that flows directly into the bay, creating an enchanting scenery. Here you can enjoy a refreshing swim under the fresh water that mixes with the sea, a unique and regenerating experience.

We will continue towards Punta Campanella, the most extreme point of the Sorrento Peninsula, where the sea meets the sky and the view opens up over the Gulf of Naples and Capri. This place, full of history and legend, is the perfect spot for a relaxing break immersed in the beauty of nature.

After a swim stop in Nerano, famous for its clear waters and exclusive seaside restaurants, we will sail to Punta del Sogno, a small cove perfect for another dip in the turquoise waters.

Finally, we will reach Isola dei Galli, a private paradise surrounded by charm and mystery, before arriving at our final destination: Positano. Here you can admire the city from the sea, with its colorful houses nestled in the rock, and, upon request, go ashore to explore the village and enjoy its magical atmosphere.

We had a fantastic day with Andrea along the Amalfi coast and Capri. He knew the best places to stop along the way - including for swimming breaks. The boat was very impressive and in very good condition. I can not recommend this excursion more highly!

My husband and I are deeply disappointed about our experience and treatment after booking Andrea on his Primatist G50 for a tour of the Amalfi coast. It was storming and terrible sea conditions that morning, however he never canceled or cautioned us about how bad the sea was. We only realized this once we boarded the boat after waiting almost an hour until the sea was safe enough to take a water taxi out. Once on the boat, the sea conditions were so terrible that he could barely drive forward because the waves were crashing down on his windshield so we just rocked back and forth in the storm and could barely see in front of us. We never received a briefing about the day plan, the boat, or any safety information including where the lifejackets were which would have been helpful given the conditions. He took us to the worst part of the storm where the waves and weather only became worse. Given the awful conditions, we became very seasick. We asked for Dramamine or any seasickness medication he may have however due to the English-Italian language barrier he couldn’t understand what we needed. His shipmate did go down to look for something in the lower deck, but we never saw him again the remainder of the trip. After another 10 minutes passed, we used a translator app and the captain found Benadryl for infants in his medical kit. The waves continued to worsen. It was raining so we could not be out on the deck of the ship. At one point it was raining so bad, the captain had to open his windshield to see because the water crashing on the windshield have him no visibility. My wife became progressively ill and we had no choice to ask him to return us to shore. He was hesitant to (or language barrier), but we managed to get us back to a water taxi to take us back to land. We were on the boat suffering the waves and rain for about 30-50 minutes. I reached out to Andrea the next day to see if he could take us out since the weather forecast was much more favorable and no storms were on the forecast. He said he could, but that it would be an entire new booking and that it would an additional 2900 Euros. I told him this is completely unacceptable, we already paid for a boat charter but were unable to use it; and he replied with that “the weather was not that severe.” We understand that the weather is unpredictable and out of our control which is why we purchased both the Weather Guarantee and Mondial Assistance for scenarios such as this. However, when we reached out to the insurance company they claimed “the weather was fine,” and refused to give us any type of compensation for our troubles. Highly urge against purchasing the insurance as if this storm didn’t count, nothing will. It cost us over $4,000 for about 45 minutes of a nauseating boat ride due to the extreme sea conditions. The insurance was useless and only added to the price. Highly caution against this company and driver, I’m sure if the weather is nice it would be worth it but retrospect, wasn’t worth the risk if the weather isn’t favorable.
