Un Falkuša est un bateau de pêche traditionnel utilisé par les pêcheurs de la ville de Komiža sur l'île de Vis. Falkuša est un sous-type de gajeta, un voilier de pêche traditionnel dalmate. Sa conception a été adaptée aux besoins spécifiques des pêcheurs de Komiža, qui partaient pour de longues expéditions de pêche en haute mer, leur offrant une vitesse de navigation et des caractéristiques pratiques pour le transport du poisson. C'était une pratique unique en Adriatique et en Méditerranée. Au XVIe siècle, dans la baie de Komiža, plus d'une centaine de falkuša fonctionnaient. Komiža était le centre de l'industrie de la pêche dans l'Adriatique. Sur chaque bateau, il y avait 5 membres d'équipage et ils naviguaient vers les endroits les plus éloignés en utilisant des voiles et des rames. I was born on Vis island, and I am co-ower of Alter Natura - the first and most important provider of active tourism on the island of Vis, with programs based on the interpretation of natural and cultural heritage.My passion is sailing. I am the owner of the replica of Gajeta Falkusa. As an honorary member of Comeza-Lisboa, Vojković participated in a host of international exhibitions, festivals and regattas. Fascinated by the tradition and gajeta falkuša, he initiated the construction of the third replica. Every year, the crew of the Palagruža gajeta takes part in regattas of traditional boats. In 2015, Palagruža was the winner of Rota Palagruzona, and captain Pino Vojković also won the first place sailing on Mikula in 2011 and 2012.Currently, Pino Vojković interprets the experience of gajeta falkuša with the status of a cultural good through the tourist offer of the island of Vis.
