    The boat we hired was fantastic, and the owner was very helpful, he explained everything clearly, and we had a great day out on the water. On our way back to the mooring spot, the weather turned a bit choppy, and the wind shifted unfavorably after we rounded a corner of the island. To avoid the rocks, we had to steer further out to sea, which caused the boat to hit the waves more forcefully. Unfortunately, one of the wooden deck panels broke right beneath us while we were sitting on it. A little bit later, a gust of wind blew some chips out of a bag, making the floor a bit messy. Despite that, we made it back safely and immediately informed the owner about what had happened. We offered to help clean the boat, but the owner said it wasn’t necessary. We paid for the fuel, and we hope part of the cost may have covered the damage to the deck panel, which was completely fine with us, especially since we felt bad about it, knowing that panel had just been replaced earlier this year. All in all, it was a great experience with a great boat, and we hope the deck panel has been fixed by now!
