Cala Jungo Bay

Cala Junco is one of Panarea's most picturesque bays. It is a small natural cove surrounded by high rocky cliffs that form a sort of amphitheater overlooking the sea. The water is incredibly clear and vibrantly colored, ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Above the cove are the remains of an ancient prehistoric village, adding further historical charm to the landscape. Reachable on foot or by sea, Cala Junco is considered one of the most iconic and photographed spots in the Aeolian Islands.

Scoglio la Nave is located near the island of Panarea, in the Aeolian Islands, and is a small, highly evocative volcanic sea stack. In short, the cove/area of Scoglio la Nave is characterized by: * A wild, volcanic landscape, with dark rocks shaped by the sea * Very clear, deep waters, ideal for snorkeling and diving * A seabed rich in marine life (sponges, fish, moray eels, and octopuses) * Submerged volcanic phenomena, such as gas bubbles (fumaroles) The name comes from the shape of the rock, which resembles a ship rising from the sea. This is not a traditional swimming spot (it's not a true beach), but it's highly popular for boat trips and diving, thanks to its spectacular and pristine natural environment.

Basiluzzo

Basiluzzo is a small, uninhabited island in the Aeolian archipelago, located northeast of Panarea. Of volcanic origin, it boasts rugged coastlines, rocky cliffs, and spectacular seabeds, making it a popular destination for snorkeling and diving. There are no homes or services: it's a wild and quiet place, frequented primarily by boats and day trips. Its charm lies in its unspoiled nature, the intense colors of the sea, and the evocative view of the other Aeolian islands.

Strombolicchio

Strombolicchio is a small rocky islet located northeast of the island of Stromboli, in the Aeolian Islands archipelago. It is the remnant of an ancient volcanic vent, older than Stromboli itself, shaped by erosion over millennia. It appears as a tall, steep spire, with sheer cliffs rising from the sea. At its summit is a small lighthouse, reached by a steep staircase carved into the rock. The surrounding sea is deep and crystalline, rich in marine life and a popular diving spot.

Black sand beach

Stromboli's Black Beach is a long stretch of dark sand of volcanic origin, located in the Aeolian Islands archipelago. It is characterized by: * Black sand and lava pebbles, formed by the volcano's eruptions * Deep, clear, and vibrantly colored sea, with a rapidly sloping seabed * A wild and evocative atmosphere, dominated by the active volcano The beach has few facilities and retains a natural appearance, ideal for those seeking tranquility and unique landscapes. Sciara del fuoco

The Sciara del Fuoco (Stream of Fire) is a steep volcanic debris flow located on the northwest side of the island of Stromboli, in the Aeolian Islands. It is characterized by a dark, barren slope composed of lava, ash, and eruptive materials that flow down to the sea. During the volcano's activity, incandescent lava flows and landslides can be observed along this "stream," especially at night, creating a highly evocative natural spectacle. It is one of Stromboli's iconic sites and represents the main route through which the volcano's eruptive products descend.
