We recently chartered a catamaran with captain and hostess for three days to sail from Naples to Almalfi via Capri. While we did have a great time, we did get to visit Capri, and we did make it to Almalfi, what should have been the trip of a lifetime was sullied by the poor condition of the boat we ended up on. Now we know we didn't charter a luxury super yacht, but being experienced yachties owning boats around the same size, we did expect the boat we paid a lot of money to charter to be in good working condition. We were two couples on a boat with four staterooms, and the crew put us on one side, while they occupied the staterooms on the other side instead of the crew quarters. We had separate bathrooms although they apparently shared a common plumbing system. Long story short, but we had barely left the marina when we noticed foul smelling waste water bubbling up through the drains and eventually the toilets in both our bathrooms. We reported it to the captain and instead of turning back and having it looked at back at the dock, he said he would look at it later and motored on. Despite several attempts to "fix" the issue, the captain was never able to do so and it slowly got worse. Eventually he got one bathroom kind of working and told us that we had to share a bathroom for the remainder of the trip. It was disgusting, the smell never went away, and we had no privacy. The bathrooms on the other side occupied by the crew were working fine. He could have moved us to that side, or had the company bring another boat out to meet us, but neither option was offered. The other issue was even though we were on a sail boat and there were periods of good sailing conditions, the entire trip was on motor. When we asked to sail the captain pointed to obviously frayed and worn ropes on the mainsail and stated that he didn't want to risk putting up sail in the condition it was in. When we reported these major issues that impacted our experience to the company they were initially apologetic, but only offered a small discount against a future charter which is not something that we could be likely to be able to ever redeem. We politely suggested that was not enough, but they stopped communicating. Based on the very poor condition of the boat, and the way the company handled the issue, we cannot recommend them.

We had an absolutely incredible time on Donatella's catamaran yacht sailing along the Amalfi coast. We had 20 people on board and it was completely comfortable. We booked the catamaran for our wedding party and close family before our wedding a few days later. Many of our friends said their time on the catamaran was the highlight of their trip. Donatella and her staff were exceptional and very flexible and responsive to our needs. We brought a lot of our own food and alcohol, but the captain helped us find a nice place to anchor for a swim and found a good restaurant to deliver a pasta lunch to the boat. Donatella even went to great lengths to return an item to me several days later which I had forgot onboard. I can't recommend this experience enough! Would absolutely do it again!

Donatella was great to work with prior to booking with answering all my endless questions - setting our 4 day itinerary of islands and towns to visit and having the boat provisioned with food and drinks. Once at the boat our captain Nino greeted us and off we went on the most enjoyable 4 days our group of 8 had ever experienced. The boat was beautiful and comfortable, the places Nino took us to swim and park for the night gave us the most amazing views and calm seas and Nino's contacts on shore to get us to our touring was impressive. We were sad when it ended at Amalfi town and will have fantastic memories and pictures of our trip to revisit our amazing trip to the Naples and the Amalfi Coast. This was the best part of our 12 day Italy trip.

Booking this boat turned into one of the highlights of our trip! We had a group of 22, and the boat never felt overcrowded! When we got to the dock, we did not realize how amazing of an adventure this would be until we saw the boat pull up! Climbing aboard you realize the boat is beautiful, and has SO MUCH room to sit and places to hang all over the boat. 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, 2 full bedrooms, 2 refrigerators! The back of the boat provided shade, the front had sun and space to lay out. Ezio and Serena gave us so much attention and we had a blast! They took care of all our needs and even prepared our food! They know how to have a good time! Book this boat, you will never forget it!
