The Spindrift is a custom-built Lock Crowther catamaran that combines smooth sailing with the comfort of a relaxed cruise.

Accommodating up to 18 people, it's the perfect place to enjoy a private day at sea with friends or family, swimming, relaxing, and exploring hidden caves along the coast.

All excursions depart from Alvor. From here, you can sail to the famous Lagos Caves, anchor near the impressive caves of Praia João de Arens, off Ferragudo, for a swimming or paddleboarding adventure, or relax in the Alvor lagoon while watching the kitesurfers. Full-day charters can be tailored to your preferences, weather permitting.

Rental Options and Prices:

High Season (June – August)

Half Day (3.5 hours): €750 total

Full Day (6 hours): €1180 total

Sunset Cruise (2.5 hours): €525 total

Low Season (April, May, September, October)

Half Day (3.5 hours): €675 total

Full Day (6 hours): €980 total

Sunset Cruise (2.5 hours): €495 total

Prices include private boat rental. The skipper and fuel are included in the above totals and are payable at the port.

Optional catering service available for €30 per person, including fresh salads, a generous charcuterie board, fruit, and refreshing homemade sangria.

    We had a great time on the boat, Dan and other Captain (sorry forgot his name) were great with us, provided us with cooler box for the beers and paddleboard which were great for getting into the caves, highly recommend this trip

    Amazing amazing amazing! What a trip! We only booked this the night before as that’s when they had availability for the sunset cruise and communication was amazing from Maritta and then the Captain Theodorus and David were amazing too. Wonderful sunset cruise with the kindest staff. Clean boat and could not do more for us! Would book again in a heartbeat!

    We were a group of 9 people, the catamaran looked well-maintained and very comfortable, since there were only a few of us, we had a lot of space. We went to a small cave in the same area of Portimao and ended up on a beach near Alvor. In general, everything was fine, but we lacked communication once we got on the boat, since we couldn't do the tour we would have liked. Perhaps we were going with very high expectations and seeing that the route was simply reaching a cliff and coming back, we were a bit disappointed. I would recommend for future clients to define the route first.
