Lot’s to see on the many waterways. Lot’s of bars and restaurants to have a drink or bite.

Beautiful port and city canals. If you rent full day this boat you could go up the canals to Etang de Thau, go SW, and get back through Marseillan canal to the sea and back to port again with 3-4 hours to spare for various lunch and swimming breaks.

Everything went well. Only a minor remark that the ladder to get on board after a swim was very short making it quite hard to get on board. Maybe it could extend longer but we were unable to get that done. It was a good exercise to get on board again ;-)

We hired the boat in Sete, and first time using the company. It was really Isy and great communication with the on shore team. They showed us the boat and we had a map of where to go and where not to. All very easy. We had to pay a €4000 security bond but was fully refunded. Fuel was €110.

We had a great daytrip with Jean Marie who sailed us along the seafront between Sete and Agde. With 4 adults and 5 kids we had a very relaxing time. Jean Marie is a fantastic host, taking safety with the kids seriously but very flexible on what you want to do. We sailed one way (and back on the engine) and the kids helped out by raising the sails, we dived off the boat with the fins and snorkels provided, we paddle boarded and did some fishing. The fish food platter was very nice. Jean Marie is a very nice guy, who has great stories and is easy going. Would definitely recommend.
