Naturally, the homonymous city of Rhodes, situated at the northern end of the island, where the famous Colossus of Rhodes, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world is located, is a must-see stop. In the old town you can discover the medieval city and its fortified walls, as well as visit the Palace of the Great Masters, an ancient fortress transformed into a Byzantine history museum. On October 2 & 3 I had the great pleasure to travel with two wonderful people, Aneta and George. When you are with such nice people you do not want the journey to end. I hope and wish to see them again soon and to travel more days to the Greek islands.
