Nice town with beautiful architecture, but a bit crowded specially during high season.

We sailed to Portofino and it was beautiful. It is a full day activity though so plan accordingly. Our day went from 9am-7pm. Also plan your time at Portofino well because the ferry’s have priority to other boats so you may need to wait in order to get access to a docking spot

Lavagna was a great place to leave for a day trip to Portofino! You can reach it direct on a train from La Spezia or Genova. The marina was easy to get out of and there was someone at the fueling jetty helping you. Once out on the water, it took 20-30 mins to get to Portofino and the surounding towns!

Initially the communication from the company was brusque and dismissive, as if they had enough business & couldn’t be bothered with clients. However once in Portofino, they were accommodating and friendly. Boat was fine & easy to drive.
