Do I need a boat/sailing license to hire a boat in the Netherlands?
When it comes to regulations in the Netherlands, there are three options:
- No license is required: if the boat is less than 15 meters and the maximum speed is 20 km per hour;
- Klein Vaarbewijs 1: this license is required for boats traveling at more than 20 km per hour on rivers, canals and lakes;
