Start of the experience
Rumeli Fortress
Rumeli Hisarı is a fortress located on the Bosphorus in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul, which gave its name to the district in which it is located. It was built by Mehmed the Conqueror before the conquest of Istanbul, at the narrowest point (698 m[3]) of the Bosphorus, directly opposite Anadolu Hisarı on the Anatolian side, in order to prevent attacks from the Black Sea.
Anatolian Fortress
Anadolu Hisarı is an Ottoman fortress located in the Anadoluhisarı neighborhood of Istanbul's Beykoz district, where the Göksu Stream flows into the Bosphorus. Anadolu Hisarı was built in 1395 by Bayezid I, covering an area of 7,000 square meters, 660 meters from the narrowest point of the Bosphorus. The Genoese, in alliance with the Byzantines, had established colonies in the Black Sea (in Kefe, Sinop, and Amasra). Therefore, passage through the Bosphorus was vital for the Genoese, as was the case for the Ottomans. Rumeli Hisarı, located on the opposite shore, on the European side of Istanbul, was built between 1451 and 1452 by Mehmed II to control the passage of ships from these foreign countries. Mehmed the Conqueror commissioned the addition of outer walls to the fortress during the construction of Rumeli Hisarı.
Beylerbeyi Palace
Beylerbeyi Palace was a summer Ottoman palace located in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul. Currently used as a museum, Beylerbeyi Palace is part of a complex consisting of various attached structures and other elements. It takes its name from the Beylerbeyi district in which it is located. It was built between 1863 and 1865, under the orders of Ottoman Sultan Abdülaziz, with the architect Sarkis Balyan as the architect.
Maiden's Tower

Dolmabahce Palace
Dolmabahçe Palace is an Ottoman palace located in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, on an area of 250,000 m² between Dolmabahçe Street, which extends from Kabataş to Beşiktaş, and the Bosphorus. It is located on the left bank of the Bosphorus at the entrance by sea from the Sea of Marmara, opposite Üsküdar and Kuzguncuk. The construction of the palace, which was built by Sultan Abdülmecid, began in 1843 and was completed in 1856. It is currently used as a museum
Cıragan Palas
The area of Çırağan, located between Beşiktaş and Ortaköy today, was known as the "Kazancıoğlu Gardens" in the 17th century. The seaside palaces and gardens that adorned the Beşiktaş shores in the 18th century were considered among the most important symbols of the "Love of Flowers and Music" period, known as the Tulip Era. This period was as much a time of entertainment as it was a time of cultural brilliance. Ahmed III, the ruler of the period, invested his property here.
Ortakoy (Great Mecidiye Mosque)
The Great Mecidiye Mosque or Ortaköy Mosque is a Neo-Baroque style mosque located on the coast in the Ortaköy district of the Beşiktaş district on the Bosphorus in Istanbul.
