I am offering my Jeanneau Cap Camarat 5.5 Open boat for rent, equipped with a very economical 100 hp Yamaha engine.

The boat is available for rent with or without a skipper (captain) for half-day, full-day, sunset cruises, or longer.

Professional skipper with a state-recognized certificate (BACPN).

Skipper fees payable on site:

€150 for a half-day.

€250 for a full day.

Departing from the port of Sainte-Maxime or Les Issambres, come and discover the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, Pamplona Beach, Port Grimaud, and the surrounding area.

The boat is equipped with several features, including a retractable sun awning, a large forward sun deck, a swim ladder, GPS, fish finder, and Bluetooth sound system.

Rental options:

Underwater scooter (photo in description): €60 with one battery, €75 with two batteries (battery life ~35 minutes).

Paddleboard rental: €20 for a half-day, €30 for a full day.

Snorkeling masks: €5 each.

    Deposit Problem – Very Disappointing Experience We rented a boat through Click&Boat in Sainte-Maxime, and unfortunately, we felt a significant portion of our deposit was unfairly withheld. The day before the rental, the owner informed us that the boat was not in Sainte-Maxime as planned, but in a nearby port accessible only by car (15 minutes away). Although this was unexpected, we accepted this change. On the day itself, the boat waiting for us did not match the photos in the ad. This didn't bother us, as it still met our needs. The owner explained the boat's operation to us for about 30 minutes, and we paid the agreed deposit of €2,500. During the day, we noticed an oil leak from the steering, a problem the owner had never mentioned to us. Upon our return, we reported the leak, to which he simply replied that it was "normal." After inspecting the boat, he accused us of damaging the propeller. We have no idea how this could have happened, and nothing unusual happened during our trip. The problem: the condition of the propeller was not shown to us before departure, nor did we check it. There is therefore no evidence that the damage occurred during our rental. The owner withheld a significant portion of our deposit. In our view, this is a dishonest practice: we believe the propeller was probably already damaged before our arrival. We now feel like we were tricked. We strongly advise against using this charter company. We are considering legal action to ensure this type of abuse doesn't go unpunished. Please be very careful before renting here! OWNER'S RESPONSE: "Hello, I'm sorry your experience didn't meet your expectations, but I'd like to provide some important clarifications: You were informed of the port change the day before, and you accepted it. The port in question is approximately 3 km away, and this possibility is clearly indicated in the advertisement. Regarding the hydraulic steering, it wasn't a leak but a normal overflow, with oil topping up the day before. The propeller was checked for good condition just before your rental, upon the return of a previous customer the day before. It showed no signs of damage. Upon your return, it was clearly damaged, indicating underwater impact. A deduction of €164, corresponding to the price of the part alone, was applied, with a supporting invoice (no labor or crane work was charged). The deposit was €2,500, and It is therefore false to say that a large portion was retained. The propeller is checked after each rental as part of my professional inspection procedures. There is therefore no ambiguity about the origin of the damage noted. I have been renting this boat for several years and have left over 130 positive reviews from my clients. No incidents of this type have been reported previously. Best regards, Ronny"

    Rony, like Florian, are very friendly and give good advice on navigating in complete safety, which is the main thing; they know the limits of the boat very well and also the navigation area (with a sea that can quickly get a little choppy, which is enough to limit the speed to 15Kts otherwise... it hits fast = not pleasant for the passengers). Boat very good for 4 (a bit tight for 5 or 6 adults no doubt), with a very large tau even when sailing which is ESSENTIAL, especially with children. Low consumption due to a reasonable engine of 80CV and a leisurely navigation pace (60€ of fuel for the day going south of Pamplona and then returning by the gulf). Do not hesitate and trust Rony!
