Located in the Bay of Angels, Nice enjoys a microclimate that makes it an ideal holiday destination all year long, for boating or skiing. Talking about Nice, we cannot forget about its famous Carnival; For two weeks, Nice is transformed into a magical city. Battles of flowers, colorful floats, and extravagant costumes invade the famous Promenade des Anglais. Even if you do not assist to the carnival, you will be amazed by the clear blue waters, friendliness of locals, and the laid back ambiance of Nice. Moreover, you can enjoy tasteful french food at a terrasse under the mediterranean sun.

I would highly recommend visiting Nice, France. It is one of the most beautiful places I've visited. Nice buzzes with an energy and diversity that often surpasses its coastal rivals. It's so easy to blend in and enjoy all that Nice has to offer. You can do it all and meet your budget. There are a variety of activities that will suit many needs. We spent time on the Mediterranean, hiked the hill sides, visited art museums, had excellent food and really enjoyed the night life.
We loved Old Town Nice. It was charming. Great restaurants and close to the markets and the beach. Our family of 5 (3 teens) would gladly return to this area. We found great bakeries, wonderful cafes, and delicious restaurants. It had so much more old world charm than new Nice. Yet, new Nice was easily accessible via the tram so we could reach the train station for day trips quite easily.
It's a great tour to Monaco, Cap Ferrat and the different beaches. Some of them can only be reached by boat and are really beautiful.
