Itinerary

Starting location:
Porto di Salerno, Salerno, Italy
Vietri sul Mare
Ceramics, ceramics, ceramics! Vietri is the top producer of the famous Amalfi Coast ceramics. It is a colorful town bordering the city of Salerno. - Pass by without stopping
Cetera
Cetara is the village where the pirates chose to make their base when invading the Amalfi Coast in the 9th century. The village is most known for its fish dishes, specifically tuna and anchovies, recognized throughout all of Italy and now the world.
Erchie
Legend says that Erchie was founded by Hercules when he arrived in Italy from Greece. It is a tranquil place to stop for a swim.
Major
Maiori has the longest sandy beach on the entire Amalfi Coast — which is rare here, because most towns have tiny rocky coves instead. That’s why historically it was known as the Coast’s “relaxation spot” — more space, fewer stairs, and actual room to stretch out under the sun
Minors
Stop for free time in Minori if you would like to see the ruins of an ancient Roman villa or stop for something sweet from the famous Sal de Riso bakery.
Marbled
Stop to swim or simply admire from the boat, a natural waterfall flowing from the mountains into the sea. It was once the energy source of an old paper mill, as Amalfi was known for its paper making back in the 13th century.
Atrani
The smallest village in all of Italy, a quaint cobblestone piazzetta with a small fountain surrounded by lovely cafes and a spacious beach.
Amalfi
Amalfi is arguable the most important village on the Amalfi Coast- after all, the coast is called the AMALFI Coast for a reason! Do not miss stopping here for a quick visit! The cathedral of Saint Andrew is one of the most important cathedrals in the world.
Conca dei Marini
Enjoy a swim in a beautiful bay under the former villa of Sophia Loren and stop to enjoy the beach where Jackie Kennedy spent her days while vacationing on the coast. This is village was voted to be in the top 100 most beautiful Italian villages.
Emerald Grotto
Its waters glow an intense emerald green, caused by sunlight hitting an underwater opening in the cave. This natural “light show” transforms the stalactites and rock formations into a shimmering, magical display that you can best appreciate from their small rowboat once you enter.
Fjord of Furore
A small, secluded inlet carved into towering cliffs. Above the fiord is an impressive stone arch bridge, part of the coastal road that connects Amalfi and Positano, providing stunning views down into the cove. Tiny fishermen’s houses, painted in bright colors, are scattered along the rocks, adding to the picturesque setting and hinting at the area's past as a working fishing village.
Beachgoer
See the charming Marina di Praia beach near Praiano, which is also one of the points you can depart from on this excursion.
Positano
From the water, Positano is unforgettable — its steep, colorful houses cascading down cliffs seem to float above the sea, and small beaches and hidden coves appear only when you approach by boat. Gliding along the coastline gives you a perspective no road can offer.
...and much, much more!
There is simply too much to list, you will see all of the highlights of course, but also all of the quiet, hidden spots that are not listed on the tourist sites. And this is what makes boating along the coast such a special experience.
