We really enjoyed Paxi and Paxos. The blue caves at Antipaxos and Voutoumi Beach are must sees! Having a skippered boat was the best way to do it.

Good boat overall. Two things not ideal: USBs only work if 220v connected or generator running, toilet water comes from water tanks. Sunsail Moorings - good communication and check-in/out procedures. Unfortunately check-in very late and no possibility for early check-in (insufficient staff). Click&Boat - fast in taking your money, no communication after. For 2 weeks I have tried 5 ways to contact them to find out where the boat is and where do I go for check-in… nothing. I had to do own investigation to find out which company is renting the boat and in which marina. Luckily I managed to do so and I didn’t lose the rental. Not going to do business with click&ignore ever.

Tomasz and his team are experienced sailors. They have taken good care of my yacht and our communication was very friendly. I hope to see them again.

Rent a catamaran in Corfu

Corfu is the perfect destination to set sail from when you begin your catamaran adventure in Greece. With its crystal clear waters and lovely weather all year round, Corfu is basically a sailing paradise.

There are many beautiful islands and coastal communities to explore on a catamaran and the sailing between the various destinations is idyllic. Corfu's east coast offers calm waters for swimming and a species-rich seabed that is perfect for exploring via diving and snorkelling.

But before you cast off from the quay and begin your sailing, don't miss out on exploring Corfu Town and all that there is to see there. The old town of Corfu, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is stunningly beautiful!

Palaces, forts and quaint old buildings intertwine naturally with washing lines hanging between the buildings. Another attraction in the city is Spianada, the largest square in the Balkans! The old and new forts are two sights not to be missed either!

How much does it cost to rent a catamaran in Corfu?

Like most boat rentals, the price of your rental depends on the time of year, the duration of your rental and the size, age and model of the catamaran you rent. If you are renting your catamaran in the summer, during the high season, it will be more expensive than in the low season.

But of course, the weather will then be at its best. If you rent your catamaran during the low season, the weather will be colder and it is unlikely that you will be able to spend time sunbathing and the seas will also be cooler. However, the streets will be a lot quieter, the beaches more empty and the price of your rental much lower. The beauty of renting a catamaran for a group is that the price is split between you and can often result in a great price for such an experience at sea.

During the high season, you can expect to pay $5,600 for a catamaran that sleeps up to 10 people for a week. That comes down to around $560 per person per week.

To rent a boat in the low season, the same catamaran would only cost you $2,710 per week. That means only $271 per person for a week, or less than $40 per person per day.

These prices are just a guide and so you can expect them to be more expensive if you are renting a larger or more luxurious catamaran and to be slightly cheaper if you a renting a smaller one. With Click&Boat, you can talk to one of our personal advisors who will listen to your requirements and find you the perfect boat for the best price.

Where to sail from Corfu

A catamaran is the perfect boat for cruising between the islands around Corfu while enjoying your Greece yacht charter. But which destinations should you visit and which routes are recommended?

Corfu Town

Corfu Town is a great place to dock, as the town's marina is located right by the old Venetian castle. To get in and out of the harbour, walk via the fort and cross the large bridge over the moat.

In the evening, head into town to eat at one of the many fantastic restaurants in town and explore the city's nightlife.

Petriti

Sailing a few miles south from Corfu Town, you'll come to the charming fishing village of Petriti. It's one of the few places on the island with a sandy beach, and the clear, shallow waters make it ideal for anchoring for snorkelling, canoeing and paddleboarding. The village also has authentic seafood restaurants where you can enjoy local freshly caught fish.

Paxos

Leaving the island of Corfu by catamaran and starting your cruise between the Ionian islands, Paxos is an idyllic island to land on, located just south of Corfu. Paxos is certainly one of the highlights of your Ionian sailing trip.

It is a picturesque little island whose coastline is filled with beautiful vegetation. There are four ports on the island, Lakka, Gaios, Longos and Mongonisi, all of which are great for mooring.

Parga

Sailing just over ten miles east from Paxos, you'll reach Parga, located on the Greek mainland. Unfortunately, Parga has no marina to moor in, but a good alternative is the port of Valtos, which is right next door.

You can also anchor just outside Parga if you have a dinghy to get you ashore. The town is a lively coastal community with bars, tavernas and restaurants. In the western part of the village, you can also check out the beautiful Venetian castle that overlooks the village.

Sivota Mourtos

Following the coastline north, you'll soon reach Sivota Mourtos, an authentic, relaxing fishing village. Mooring in the village is no problem either as you can anchor directly at the village quay.

In the village, you'll find nice bars and restaurants and the town is also surrounded by beautiful beaches where you can sunbathe and swim. If you're travelling with children, the water park at Monastery Bay is also a hot tip.

Dassia

If you're travelling with the family, Dassia is the perfect place to stop, a quiet coastal community, but definitely not boring. The beach in Dassia is a perfect place to spend an afternoon with the family, and the beach has even been awarded a Blue Flag for its exceptional cleanliness.

If you're keen on shopping, the beach promenade in Dassia is perfect, as you can find the best souvenirs and handicrafts from Corfu here.

Which ports are the boats in?

The main port in Corfu is Gouvia Marina, and it is also where Click&Boat has the majority of its boats.

Gouvia Marina is located just north of Corfu Town and has all the facilities you could need, including a large supermarket so you can stock up before you set out. Other ports around the island where Click&Boat also has boats are Kommeno, Paleokastritsa and Issos beach.

Catamaran rental with skipper

Don't have the required license to sail in Greece or feel complicated manoeuvring a catamaran all by yourself? With Click&Boat you can easily solve this dilemma the majority of our catamarans can be rented with skipper.

When you rent a catamaran with skipper, it takes care of the sailing completely and so you can relax completely and enjoy the surroundings with family and friends. The skippers often know the surrounding area well and can give you tips on the best beaches and harbours.

When is the best time to visit Corfu?

The best periods for a boating holiday in Corfu are from April to May or from September to November. Although it never gets really cold in the Mediterranean, the winter months are still too cold to enjoy sunbathing and swimming on Corfu's beaches. During the hottest summer months, however, there is a risk of being overcrowded with tourists.
