An archipelago of 115 islands located in the northwestern part of the Indian Ocean, about 1000 kilometers from Madagascar and Somalia, is the ideal starting point for your next sailing vacation. Certainly, the best option for smooth sailing in the Seychelles archipelago is to charter a catamaran. Its trampoline and its large platform will ensure you pleasure and relaxation in the open sea. The large interior of a catamaran will allow you to appreciate all the space and comfort you need, while the aft deck will be ideal to enjoy the scenery offered by the Seychelles archipelago.
But the biggest advantage of the catamaran is its stability. Its two floats provide better stability than on a monohull boat so you can enjoy your time on board without the fear of seasickness.
From the port of Victoria, on the main island of Mahe, you can easily reach the island of Praslin on the north-east or drop the anchor in the Baie-Sainte-Anne in the eastern part of the island. The second option could be the Bay Chevalier to the north-west of the island. Going south-west of Chevalier Bay, you can come to the breathtaking Silhouette Island. The third largest island of the archipelago and surely one of the most beautiful. To the north of the island, between the Machabee and La Varangue points, you can anchor in Anse Mondon and enjoy the horizon.
Click&Boat is the ideal place to rent a catamaran in the Seychelles archipelago. You can choose between three different types of rentals. The classic navigation rental, which includes just chartering a boat, co-navigation that includes the rental of the boat with the skipper and finally harbor charter when you just want to experience life on a boat but without sailing. Hiring a catamaran from his owner is always economically the best decision because the prices of the rental are cheaper than renting it from an agency. And the best part is that you can always contact the catamaran's owner to ask any questions you want and to settle the details of your rental.
The trip was organised perfectly! There was nothing we hat to take care of. The skipper took us to a few small islands just ogg the coast if Victoria. The snorkelling places there are fabulous - we even saw some reef sharks while snorkelling. There was plenty to do in that area!
Definitely would recommend going to Long Island, Round Island, and St Anne. Make sure to go to Long Island and round Island during low tide. Do 5 hours instead of 4. You can ask Dominique to extend the hour and pay a little bit more. Go to the private Island in St Anne.
