We had an amazing 4.5-hour private trip on the GRACE from Lagos Marina with Larissa and Charles. Despite the rough seas, they did everything to make it a fantastic day for our whole family. We visited a beautiful small lagoon and a sandbank where the kids had a wonderful time searching for shells — simple but truly magical moments. Due to the high waves we couldn’t reach the cliffs, but that’s already on our list for next time! The SUP boards were a huge hit, drinks and snacks were included, and Charles shared great local tips about restaurants and the area. Safety was always the priority, which we as parents really appreciated. Would absolutely recommend the GRACE to any family visiting Lagos. We will definitely book again! 🌊⛵

Charles and Larissa were such a wonderful couple and made the whole booking process effortless. The boat was beautiful and perfectly suited for our day. They took us to all the must-see spots around Lagos Bay, then tailored the rest of the trip with a stop at a stunning, peaceful lagoon where we could swim and paddleboard. Charles went above and beyond—not only during the trip, but also by recommending fantastic places for lunch and dinner that we loved. Truly an exceptional experience, highly recommend!

Great marina to get in and out of and pontoons are large enough to provide easy access. Plenty to see in the area all within an hour from caves to swimming and beaches. Need to watch the weather as it can get lumpy.

Lagos is a beautiful city, a must-see. Also beautiful beaches nearby, like Praia Dona Ana, a beach you must visit. The dolphin-tour and Cave-tours are recommended.

So good to meet Michelle, Chuck, and their two lovely boys. They are such fun to have on board and extremely polite and friendly. They are a well travelled family with many stories to tell. We had a great time on this yacht trip. Bruno and his team were warm and welcoming, and we were greeted with a drink when we came aboard, which was a nice touch. The yacht was beautiful and had plenty of space for our group to relax and enjoy the day. Our two hosts were lovely and knowledgeable about the area, and we enjoyed learning more about the local coastline and surroundings! We brought some of our own food and drinks to enjoy onboard, which worked out well. One thing to note is that you'll transfer from a smaller boat in the marina to reach the yacht, but Bruno and his team were there to help and made the process easy. Overall, it was a fun and relaxing experience, and we were so glad we chose this trip while visiting the Algarve!

What an amazing morning spent onboard Just Wind with Liam and João. They made us very welcome and looked after us superbly. Their local knowledge and expertise was evident from the moment we stepped onboard. The yacht itself was superb, immaculately kept and the lads explained everything we needed to know. It was an amazing experience for my wife, myself and our friends. Would definitely recommend Southwest Boats, Liam and João to anyone looking to have a morning or afternoon on the water!

Charlie and Larissa are amazing owners and hosts! We had an incredible time and Charlie was a big part of it as our captain. We showed up with a plan and unfortunately the swells on the sea didn’t cooperate so we had to quickly come up with a Plan B. Charlie did an amazing job of laying out some alternatives to cater to what he understood our needs to be. We quickly went through the choices, mixed a few together and came up with a new plan that turned out to be the most epic afternoon of our 17 days traveling around Portugal. We could not ask for a better finish. Thank you, Charlie!

Our boat day in the Algarve was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Captain Charlie was the best, so friendly, funny, and full of great energy. From the moment we got on board, he made us feel comfortable and completely safe, even as we cruised through some of the most beautiful caves and rock formations along the coast. You could tell right away that he really knew what he was doing, and he shared so much interesting information about the area while keeping the whole vibe super fun and relaxed. We told him that seeing Benagil Cave was at the top of our list, and he went out of his way to make sure we got the best possible experience there. He timed it perfectly so we could enjoy the cave without big crowds, and it honestly felt magical. He also took us to a few hidden spots we never would have found on our own, each one more stunning than the last! The boat itself was perfect, clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a day out on the water. The whole trip felt personal and special, not rushed at all. We laughed, explored, and soaked up the sun while taking in some of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen. If you’re thinking about booking a boat tour in the Algarve, do it! He truly made the day unforgettable. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and we’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. I will be making sure to recommend his tour to any of our family and friends that are coming to Lagos, it was so amazing!

Such an incredible experience! The husband-and-wife team made the whole day feel so personal and relaxed — like spending the day on the water with friends. The boat was spotless, with welcome snacks waiting for us, and they gave us such great insight into the history and beauty of the Portuguese coast. They took us to the perfect spot for lunch and even surprised the bride and groom with a bottle of champagne. Truly such a special, family-feel experience — can’t recommend this charter enough!
