We offer our First 25 (2017 Performance edition) for the program that suits you: regatta, cruise or stroll. Rental is open for the day depending on availability or by boat alone. This boat is both comfortable and fast, reassuring and pleasant to maneuver, its lifting keel is suitable for navigation on the Arcachon Bay: Eyrac harbor, Île aux Oiseaux and its tchanquées cabins, Dune du Pyla, Banc d'Arguin, Cap Ferret with its beaches and oyster villages, and other nice places. We can accompany you for a day as team navigators to guide you on the Basin, its discovery, the opening of the oysters, etc... It is equipped with a fixed VHF-ASN which means that at least one person on board must hold the CRR or a license (at least coastal). Bridge side: It is equipped with a Horned Mainsail (self-supporting rigging, sheet rail on aft beam), a Furling Genoa and a Code Zero on furler. All maneuvers (including the balance) are sent back to the cockpit. On port side is the steering compass, on starboard the displays (wind vane/anemometer, log/speedo, depth sounder, position). Its inboard engine is a Yanmar 14CV. Autopilot can be plugged in if requested. Cabin side: The front cabin (sliding door) is designed for 2 beds, breathtaking view of the sky. The marine toilet (sliding door) is equipped with a black water tank (in case of anchoring in the protected areas of the Basin) and its deck hatch can be opened. The “sea view” saloon can be converted into beds (2 + 1). The kitchen has a sink, a stove, a cooler (ice packs available in supermarkets) and meal essentials. The chart table area houses the on-board electricity and electronics, fuel and battery gauges, and a very practical 12V socket. I leave, beyond the maps and regulatory works, the CRAS rule, the dry-point compass, a bearing compass, a pair of binoculars and a portable anemometer available. Practical side: the inflatable annex is equipped with a new TORQEEDO electric motor from 2020; the available anchorage is on the Cap Ferret peninsula side, at the oyster port of Claouey (oyster farmers, sailing club and restaurants on site, market hall and supermarket 500m away). We rented Marie Laure's boat for a full week. For a family with a child there is enough space to spend quiet nights on the pool. Fleur de lys is well equipped, but not having a shower, we took a solar shower, which allowed us to be independent for a full week by going to the various markets each morning and taking ice or water from the shops. oyster farmers. Fleur de Lys behaves very well under sail, easy to handle, everything is in the cockpit. In the engine it is silent and very little greedy in diesel. Marie Laure is readily available if needed. We strongly recommend this ship, which allowed us to spend a pleasant week at 3 on this very pretty basin.

Bespoke 5-star service from Marie-Laure! Welcoming, educational and above all patient for the remote handling by facetime please (due to the tide and our late arrival). Good plans to enjoy the basin in the best conditions, tides, documentation, navigation plan, restaurant... The boat is perfect and well equipped. If I had to give one point for improvement but which remains minor, I would have liked to have had a dinghy inflator on board, to be able to deflate the dinghy at my convenience.

Marie-Laure was perfect even though we made her wait an hour at the start due to traffic jams! The boat is very pleasant to sail, no problem, nickel equipment. We can see that it was an experienced skipper who prepared it. A few minor minor seasonal wear issues. Not easy to repair in high season. Cabin not recommended if you are over 1.70m tall. The tender's electric motor (brand new) is a real treat once you know how to install it and use it. Thank you for the exceptional welcome. The exchange with Marie-Laure was very good. We were even allowed on the boat a day earlier than planned. The information was very good and the boat is in good condition. The only negative at the beginning was the cleanliness, but that was ok after a bit of cleaning. Arcachon Bay is very beautiful but also challenging to sail.

the First 25 performance is a race boat, efficient, very livable and comfortable. In the dinghy version, we were able to take full advantage of the best corners of the basin to picnic, swim or spend a night on board. The contact and handling of the boat was warm and very detailed. Marie-Laure and her husband can be proud of their "fifth" child:) Novices, beware! Navigating the Arcachon basin by open sea, for example, can be misleading. Mastering the use of GPS and all maritime safety rules are a must! Excellent performance.

Excellent hospitality, boat very clean, well equipped, dynamic and comfortable. Anchorage a little far from the edge (tidal constraints but it's a bit the rule on the basin) but peaceful and pleasant.

Stéphane et Marie-Laure, nous sommes des passionnés de voile et tombés amoureux du Bassin d'Arcachon. Nous aimons partager la découverte de notre région, sa douceur de vivre et sa gastronomie. Stéphane a usé très tôt ses fesses sur Optimist puis autres dériveurs, a suivi dans sa jeunesse un stage croisière aux Glénans, pratiqué la course croisière (dont trois Tours de France à la Voile), il a navigué comme chef de bord entre Continent, Baléares et Corse puis aux Antilles. Marie-Laure se revendique à juste titre "parfaite équipière" ayant par ailleurs pratiqué le ski de haut niveau (sur neige), et adore transmettre !
