But Ibiza is so much more than amazing parties. The Mediterranean island is full of beautiful beaches, quiet coves and lush greenery just waiting to be explored. There’s so much natural beauty to uncover, and a rich culture to get acquainted with.

There’s no holiday quite as unique as a sailing adventure. With a destination as coveted as Ibiza, you’ll create long-lasting memories as you cruise through the azure waters around the archipelago.

A boat rental in Ibiza is an excellent way to explore the island's coastline, secluded coves, and pristine beaches. It allows you to discover hidden spots that are not accessible by land and provides you with a unique perspective of the island's natural beauty. It is also a great way to escape the crowds and enjoy some privacy with your friends and family.

Ibiza offers a wide range of boats for rent, including sailboats, motorboats, RIBs, catamarans, gulets, jet skis, and yachts. Each boat type has its own unique features, and you can choose one depending on your preferences, budget, and sailing experience. So, what are you waiting for? Your perfect Ibiza boat charter awaits!

What is the price of boat charters in Ibiza?

At Click&Boat we have a range of yacht rentals in Ibiza and surrounding areas. The cost of an Ibiza yacht hire depends on several factors such as the season, duration, type of boat, port/marina rented from, and whether or not you want a skipper. What is included in the cost?

The cost of a boat in Ibiza typically includes safety equipment, cleaning, and insurance. However, additional extras such as fuel, skipper, crew, water sports equipment, and food and drinks are usually not included in the price. However, this depends on the boat owner so we recommend clarifying with them.

What type of boat is best for an Ibiza yacht rental?

If you’re stuck trying to choose the perfect vessel for your Ibiza boat hire, think about how much time you’re planning to spend on board. If you only have a few days to spare, opt for a daily rental in a motorboat or a RIB. These boats are fast and will get you where you need to go in no time!

If you’re looking to spend a week or more on board, a catamaran, sailboat, or yacht can accommodate your every needs. These boat types are spacious and well-equipped with cabins, kitchen and sunbathing area for you to sit back, and relax

Hire a boat in Ibiza with or without a skipper!

At Click&Boat, we make sailing accessible to people of all nautical backgrounds. If you’ve never sailed before, you can still go on a sailing excursion with a skipper on board who will handle all of the logistics on the water. If you have the proper licence, you can also rent a yacht in Ibiza without a skipper. Additionally, you can also rent a licence-free boat regardless if you have a licence or not.

Skippers are licenced professionals who will navigate, dock and anchor the vessel, as well as take you to see everything on your itinerary. Although booking with a skipper is typically more expensive than a bareboat charter, the extra cost is worth it to have your very own guide who knows the area very well, and can show you the hidden gems on the island. For the ultimate holiday charter a boat in Ibiza with a skipper!

What is the best time to rent a boat in Ibiza?

The weather is sublime between May and September, with warm temperatures and little to no rainfall. This is the perfect time to charter a yacht in Ibiza. The weather is hottest in August, with high averages of 27°C and water temperatures at 28°C! However, you should be aware that Ibiza’s high season is in the summer, meaning that it will be quite crowded and rentals will be more expensive. If you don’t mind slightly cooler weather you should visit the island on the tail ends of high season in May or September. You will still have pleasant weather but there will be less crowds and the boats will be cheaper!

What can you see and do on an Ibiza boat rental?

Ibiza is a treasure trove of exciting things to do, and we’re here to help you add some activities to your Ibiza sailing itinerary. Below are some of our favourite activities and attractions to see and do while on your yacht charter in Ibiza.

  • Go beach hopping and see some of the island’s most pristine sandy beaches like Cale Comte, Cala Bassa, Playa de Es Canar, Cala Salada, and Xarraca Bay.
  • Stroll through Ibiza’s Old Town, a fortified UNESCO World Heritage Site, and see the whitewashed walls and maze like streets. You can visit the Ibiza Cathedral as well as the Castell d’Eivissa fortress but if history isn’t your thing, you’ll also be able to get a taste of the island’s nightlife.
  • Go cliff-jumping in the untouched waters of Cala Xuclar and if you have time, go sea kayaking!
  • Snorkel in the calm water of Ses Margalides Island and if you’re feeling brave, dive underwater and discover the shipwreck of Don Pedro, a ship that sank in the harbour in 2007.
  • Discover the legend of Atlantis at Es Vedra, an uninhabited rock formation situated near Cala d’Hort. It is regarded as one of Ibiza’s most important sights and with your boat rental, you can marvel at it from all angles.
  • Go stand-up paddle boarding along the beachfront of San Antonia, Playas d’en Bossa, and Santa Eularia.
  • Birdwatch at Ses Salines Natural Park and see the gorgeous landscape full of marshes, wetlands and lagoons.
  • Boat along the beaten path and see the rustic part of the island at San Miguel’s Port. When you’re there you can go inside the Cova de Can Marca, a magnificent cave with stalactites, rock formations and crystal-clear water.

We went to Formentera and to another beach on the way (recommended by our captain). Both were beautiful.
