Great little town, great and friendly people, very flexible with us which we are very grateful for ❤️ We went as suggested by the son of the person who was renting the boat, visiting all the beaches and heading his advice on the wind direction and the beaches, which turned out to be fantastic advice. At first everything went fantastic. But, we had to be 'rescued' (lol) because most likely we stepped on the fuel line which choked the engine of the boat and then we didn't rev it properly when trying to restart it so it flooded. As naturally this happened only 1.5h before the ferry was due, our Argentinian 'rescuer' located us via my Google maps location and let us come back on his boat to catch the ferry whilst our travel companions steered the boat back. Everyone was so friendly and flexible and helpful it was absolutely fantastic. Recommend 💯%

Much better and livelier than split … I feel . But maybe because we were staying in Radission, quieter side and overlooking abandoned construction sites and far frm the main action . But we stayed in Adriana in Havr, walking distance to everywhere.

We had an apartment in Stari Grad, which is smaller and quieter than Hvar Town. It's also cheaper and less crowded. Jelsa is also very nice and a even more quiet. July was a good time for us for this trip, we had some beaches more or less to ourselves.
