This Yacht was designed in 1948 by a young Swedish yacht designer by the name of Olle Enderlein. She was built at the renowned shipyard Le Marchand in St Malo for a French doctor who desired a solid, all round yacht that could perform in various conditions. Measuring 42 feet on deck, was built as a Bermudian Cutter to tackle the tricky waters of the Northern Atlantic. She was built as a Racer / Cruiser, with a balance between comfort and speed. The construction consists of teak planking on oak frames, with the original teak interior freshly restored. The traditionally laid teak deck has been re-caulked and is close to 30mm solid teak. The mast is the original 7/8ths fractional Canadian Spruce rig measuring over 15m. There are 2 cabins wth 2 bunks in each, a saloon with dining table and 2 sofas, galley, bathroom with shower and WC and a “doghouse” with leather seating. Ideal for day cruising in the Bay of Cannes, exploring the Iles de Lerins and Estérel mountains, or cruising down the coast to the Porquerolles islands and beyond... We will also take part in the Classic Yacht Regatta series in the Med this 2018. World renowned regattas such as Les Voiles de Saint Tropez, Le Regate Royale and Les Voiles d’Antibes are on the schedule and places are available...
