With a mix of Roman and Venetian historic ruins, Zadar is a city rich in history and culture. The city of Zadar is the perfect starting point for cruising around on a boat. It is a fortified peninsula nestled away in the northern part of the Dalmatian coast this area is a little bit more quiet with less tourist crowds. There are three national parks, great restaurants, stunning old city walls, Romanesque churches (and the Roman forum), and festivals by the sea in the summer. Perfectly located on the Croatian coast, charter a yacht and go explore some of the many surrounding islands, famously beautiful and perfect for a day trip.
In Zadar, 280 privately owned yachs are available for charter. See other yachts in the area
Nice place to spent a holiday. The Old town is perfect to have diner and to walk around. You can have a wonderfull sunset next to the water and walk on the boulevard. We spent 3 days in Zadar but it was to short. I really come back for a second visit.
zadar was dope. it was quite charming. we had great food here, in fact some of the best in croatia. There was easy access to unbelievable islands and coves. plus we went 45 min to the paklencia national park (sp?) and climbed some awesome mountains. I would say WIN WIN
a great location to visit the near park of dugi took and surrounding islands: so many spots will grant peace and clean water everywhere around the area, and you can reach amazing spots within less then 1h without even stretching the engine too much. the sea tends to be very calm in the area which is great
