Yacht Charter Lisbon, the city of a thousand colours .

Rent a boat in Lisbon, the capital and largest city of Portugal, and you will have an incredible adventure in a true cosmopolitan centre that inspired, through the ages, several painters and writers, from where the first Portuguese caravels and navigations of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries left. A place where history unfolds daily, whether through culture, cuisine, architecture, language or people, but especially through the natural beauty and energy of Lisbon.

Located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Sea of Palha, the city of Lisbon was built on several hills (those of São Jorge, São Vicente, Sant'Ana, Santo André, Chagas, Santa Catarina and São Roque), which is why the city has cable cars like the one in Parque das Nações and lifts, like the one named Santa Justa, connecting Baixa Pombalina to Bairro Alto in the historical centre of the city.

Although some were destroyed by the 1755 earthquake and the 1988 fire, Lisbon still has many monuments worth visiting. While walking through the city, for example, you may end up in the picturesque Alfama district. There you can visit the Castle of São Jorge or the Cathedral of Santa Maria Maior. In the historical centre you will find the Praça do Comércio, the most famous square in town.  In the west zone you will find the district of Belém, famous for its numerous monuments including the Torre de Belém, a reference point for Portuguese explorers between the 15th and 17th centuries.

A boat rental in Lisbon allows you to immerse yourself in Portuguese culture, contemplate these historical monuments and create your own unforgettable memories!

What is there to see and do by boat in Lisbon on your yacht charter adventure?

Regardless of whether your boat rental starts at Doca de Alcântara, Doca de Santo Amaro or Marina Parque das Nações, it is good idea to start your boat tour in Lisbon at the Natural Reserve of the Tagus Estuary, a little corner full of nature in the heart of the Portuguese capital. This is a good place to breathe some fresh air, observe the seabirds of the region and start your day on the right foot.

Following the Tagus River navigation, one of the first monuments in sight is the Vasco da Gama Bridge, which with its incredible 17km length, adds a touch of urbanism and modernity to picturesque Lisbon.

The best part of a private boat rental is the opportunity to choose and plan your own itinerary, and we know that in Lisbon, the possibilities of stopping are more than humanly possible. We recommend the National Tile Museum and the National Museum of Ancient Art, to admire a little of the Portuguese contribution to the artistic world, the National Sanctuary of Christ the King, the Monument of the Discoveries to admire the incredible panorama, the beautiful Monastery of Jerónimos and of course, the indispensable Tower of Belém, probably the most famous monument in Portugal. We can already see that the Tagus River is really the soul of Lisbon!

For those looking for fun on the beach with family and friends, the Portuguese capital also offers beautiful walks, such as Praia da Torre, for example. But if you want more beach options, a boat can take you to Cascais, to the charming beaches of Guincho, Rainha, Conceição and São Pedro de Estoril, where you can spend the day in the Atlantic sun, before returning to Lisbon.

If you wish to visit other neighbouring regions, we suggest you rent a boat and go to Sesimbra and Setúbal, paradise corners of Portugal, near the Arrábida Natural Park, where some of the best beaches in the country are kept, such as Galapinhos Beach, Portinho da Arrábida and the Troia Peninsula, golden sandy beaches and crystal clear waters to make your summer dreams come true!

To close the day, we suggest returning to the Tagus River to watch the famous Lisbon sunset in the privacy of your own boat deck!

What kind of boat is it possible to rent in Lisbon?

At Click&Boat we offer all kinds of boats for your dream holiday!

For an authentic sail in the Capital of Lusitanian Culture, there is nothing better than renting a sailboat! This boat requires basic knowledge about the winds and the tide, requires work to maneuver, sailing and much more, but the experience is worth it! Feel the breeze on your face, the movement of the waves and the freedom of sailing!

Renting a catamaran can be a great idea for a nice walk or family trip. This boat is a multi-hull sailboat that offers space and leisure for everyone! Its weight is distributed between two hulls, which means more space than a single hull sailboat, and also more lightness and stability for a quiet navigation!

Hire a speedboat or a semirigid if the tour schedule is for a day, for example. With a compact design and speed, a motorboat allows the crew to get to know several tourist spots, beaches and coves in a single day. They are also ideal boats for water sports, or just for a scenic tour on the Tagus River.

A yacht rental is the best option for those looking for a trip or maybe just a luxury night under the starry Lisbon sky. This boat offers space, comfort and luxury! like the most elegant hotels in the world, but also the privacy of home. Perfect for a luxurious trip along the Portuguese coast or a nice dinner with friends on deck by the Tagus River!

Lisbon is a great option to grab a boat. Although the water is not as blue and warm as the Mediterranean, the experience heading out to the ocean is very great

Lisbon has the perfect weather to sail. Nice bays to drop anchor and jump to the water and get tanned under the warm sun, far from the city to relax but always accessible through nice marinas whenever you want to have fun on crowded places.
