Discover Bodrum from the water

Located 12 nautical miles northeast of Kos, the town of Bodrum is a unique starting point for a sailing trip along the Turkish coast or the Dodecanese Islands in the Greek part of the Aegean Sea. Of course if you hire a boat in Bodrum you can hop from one island to another, say from Nisiros to Leros and then to the cosmopolitan island of Rhodes, also known as ‘The Island of the Knights’.

Closer to Bodrum, you can admire what’s left of the ancient mausoleum of Halicarnassus, a tomb built in 350 BC that was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. To relax a bit and enjoy the Med’s burning sun, we recommend the beach of Bitez. From there you can sail to Datça, Izmir or one of the picturesque towns along the Turkish coast.
