Athens is a wonderful city, full of life, culture and good food. In front of kalamaki marina there are supermarket and good places to have a dinner. When we have sailed from cyclades back to Athens, we could see the parthenon temple from the sea and it was one of the best part of our one month long trip through the cyclades.

Athens is a lovely city to visit in any time during the year. The Saronic gulf which is near Athens hides really nice treasures waiting to be explored (Egina, Salamina etc). You can also sail a bit more far to visit Spetses or Porto Heli. Aegean islands are also near, so if you plan to visit Athens and rent a boat for a tour in 2-3 islands of Aegean, I would strongly recommend you go for it!!

Best place to eat fish and sea food I ever seen.Nice country .I would suggest to get front beach hotel .It s safe country with polite people .Really friendly people.But avoid cheap areas or cheap hotels . ask hotel reception for tips about place to avoid being deceived.But not dangerous or unsafevareas.Haa one more thing ,if you go.to vesit Athens be ready to get stuck in traffic

Very nice marina with taxi coming pick you up in front of the boat.
But if you like hot water, take your shower aboard.
Were in the Saronic and Argolic gulfs. We really loved Poros, Spetses and Hydra, don't miss these lovely islands.
The weather was perfect,despite some unexpected gales at Hydra island.
Make sure you have a long moulding line because of the depth and the slope of the moorings sometimes.

We have visited Kea, the closest cycladitic island to Athens. It is full of beautiful and secluded beaches with azure water. Excellent sea food and a very nice taste of island life! The boat is located 40 minutes from Athens City center, but at the closest to Kea (Sounion area). So you need less fuel to go there with the boat and spend more time in the water!!!!

If leaving from Athens, you should do Aegina, Hydra, Spetses and Poros. These islands are within 4 hours from each if using a sailboat and are all definitely worth doing during the same trip. More options are on the cost of mainland, but will surely required more than a week to complete.

Massive thanks to Alexandros and Stravos, we had an amazing two weeks sailing in the Saronic gulf and the northern Cyclades on Maranel. The boat was perfect, everything worked as it should and she was extremely well maintained. Communication, was excellent, from booking, airport pick up to boat handover and return. Cannot fault this company, highly recommended and definitely 5 stars. Hope to see you again and wish you all the best.

Captain Benard and his group were excellent throughout the entire week. They were very cooperative and returned the boat in perfect condition. We thank them very much for the wonderful collaboration, and we were especially happy that they thanked us as well. We would be delighted to host them again in the future and to serve them. We wish them a good winter and look forward to the summer so that we can welcome them on one of our other boats.

The journey and the crew were absolutely amazing! They were so friendly and helpful throughout the entire trip. It was truly a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Lykourhos is a great skipper. He makes you feel welcome and safe. He is very friendly but also very discreet and easy going. The boat is very spacious and well maintained.
We went on a two day cruise with our two kids, and they also loved it. They even had the chance to steer the boat under sail.
We cooked a couple of meals and the kitchen is very well equipped.
Lykourgos also proposed the right spots to stop for swimming, with great waters, while avoiding the classical overcrowded bays.
At the overnight stay at Poros he was also good at advising us on the right place to dine.
Overall recommended! We will definitely choose him and his boat again, for our next trip!
