About the experience

Embark on an unforgettable 8-hour voyage from the Port of Alicante to Tabarca Island, the smallest inhabited island in the Mediterranean and a true natural and marine paradise. This unique experience combines sailing, unspoiled nature, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and traditional cuisine, ideal for groups, couples, or families looking for a full day at sea.

We'll head south, skirting the Alicante dry dock, sailing alongside the Palmeral and the Urbanova area, until we reach the magical Arenales del Sol, where pristine sand dunes still stand along the coast—a rarity these days. We'll continue along the coast of Gran Alacant, passing under the Santa Pola lighthouse, a popular paragliding spot, with stunning views over Playa del Carabassí, an unspoiled gem where pine trees reach the seashore.

Finally, we'll reach the spectacular Tabarca Island, world-renowned for its underwater flora and fauna. Here you can enjoy activities such as snorkeling, paddleboarding, or simply relaxing in one of its hidden coves. For lunch, you have two options: go down to the island and enjoy a local restaurant—we recommend trying the traditional Tabarcan caldero (stew) or squid (squid)—or have your food brought aboard using a boat from the restaurant. The skipper will remain on the boat at all times for your peace of mind and safety.
The choice of anchorage will depend on the wind: if it blows from the south, it is recommended to anchor in the north of the island, and vice versa.

    We booked this for my sister 30th for 6 people and it was the highlight of our trip! There was more than enough space for the 6 of us and nothing was too much for Christian to make our trip so comfortable. He was such a fun and attentive host. He gave a few options on where we could go which was great! It was exactly what we wanted and more. Christian is so friendly and made the whole experience. We’d definitely come back when we’re next in the area. Would recommend this without a doubt to anyone looking for private boat trip.

    We had an amazing trip onboard Smiling, communication with Christian was great leading up to the day and he was very helpful and accommodating during the trip.
