About the experience

Ston & Kolocep Blue Cave – A Day of Salt, Seafood & Swimming
History lessons, local food, and swimming in hidden caves—what’s not to love? Join us for a full-day trip from Dubrovnik to Ston, with a must-see stop at the peaceful island of Kolocep.

Your adventure begins at Dubrovnik’s Gruž Port, where we’ll board a speedboat and head to Kolocep—one of the quiet Elaphiti islands. With no cars and only around 160 locals, this island instantly puts you in vacation mode. The main highlight? The Blue Cave. You’ll swim through a narrow sea entrance into a glowing, blue-lit cave—don’t forget your waterproof camera!

After snorkeling and exploring the island, we cruise along the Elaphiti archipelago toward Ston, a town rich in history and taste. Here you’ll find the second longest defensive walls in the world, right after the Great Wall of China. Climb the walls for stunning views, then head down to visit Europe’s oldest salt pans—still in use today.

And for food lovers, Ston is a dream. Taste world-famous oysters raised in a unique mix of sea and freshwater. Stop for a traditional seafood lunch in Mali Ston and try the delicious Buzara dish made of mussels, clams, and shrimp in white wine. The Oyster experience is not included in the price, but we are more than happy to organize one!

After a full day of culture, nature, and gourmet delights, sit back and enjoy the scenic ride back to Dubrovnik, cruising past Elaphiti’s hidden gems.

Ivan was in constant contact with us. Our skipper was Robert and he took us to some amazing locations. The water at the caves was so clear. I highly suggest you got thru them. We had waters, beer and champagne on board.
