Swim, Snorkel & Relax: Private Half-Day Corfu Experience

I made the reservation for this boat several months ago. My only contact was Philip whose profile is displayed as the owner on the application. I agreed with Philip from the beginning that the boat rental will take place on Sunday 15/09 between 10am and 8pm and Philip accepted and offered to pay him 150€ more in cash for 2 additional hours and we postponed the departure by one hour because me and my friends (14 people) stayed 1h30 from the port of Lefkimmi and the departure at 9am was very early for us. This arrangement strongly impacted my decision on the choice of the boat compared to other offers from other owners during my initial search. I cannot deny that Philip was accommodating for the travel and booked us a minibus (paid service) to ensure the return transfer from our accommodation to the port. A few days before the date of the trip, Philip informed me that the date of Sunday 15/09 can no longer be assured for our trip because the wife of the captain of the boat had to have an operation. Humanely, we accepted this last minute change of plan and we had to reorganize our other outings already planned in advance. 2 days before the new date of the trip (Monday 16/09), Philip informed me that we would have to leave earlier (at 9am) and return much earlier than planned (at 5pm) which is completely different from our initial agreement!! The pretext given was that the weather conditions were better early in the morning and would get worse at the end of the day (which is not true when we checked the weather on the internet). We ended up accepting this 2nd last minute change of plan because we had no choice. For your information, the sky was very sunny on Sunday 15/09! Too bad! On Monday 16/09, we arrived at the port by minibus around 9:30 am. Philip welcomed us with the captain of the boat, his assistant (and not a hostess as stated in the ad) as well as a woman who was always on the phone and who seemed to organize the outings of this boat. Philip insisted that we pay him the cost of the fuel in cash before the boat left (which I found strange and unusual). I have rented several boats before and all the captains ask for the cost of the fuel at the end of the boat trip (on return to the port). We paid and left by boat. The sky was very cloudy in the morning with a few showers contrary to what Philip had told us the day before the outing. We made a very quick entry and exit to the bay of Lakka and a stop (duration: 1 hour maximum) to take a tour of the city of Gaios the capital of Paxos. Meanwhile (around 11:30), the sky became sunny and we asked the captain to direct us to the other spots (beaches of the 2 islands Paxos and Antipaxos) to enjoy the good weather. We ended up visiting only 2 beaches. Around 3:30 pm, the captain asked us to get on the boat. We thought he was going to head to the next spot (just next door 5min away) but the latter took the direction of Corfu (without telling us) while the weather became beautiful to enjoy the day (blue sky and very sunny: contrary once again to what Philip had told us). We were very disappointed to know that we were already going to leave when we had only just started to enjoy! We negotiated nicely with the captain and reminded him that we had agreed with Philip to stay longer. The captain completely refused and informed us that he had to go back to give blood to his wife who is in the hospital. We finally accepted with great disappointment because we waited a long time for this boat day! We arrived at the port of Lefkimmi around 4:30 pm (before the announced regulation time) knowing that we begged the captain to stay 30 minutes more and go to one last spot but he did not accept and was in a hurry. THE BIG SURPRISE when arriving at the port! Philip was not there to ask if we had a nice day (he doesn't care of course because he already took his money!). The captain flew away without saying goodbye to us while we were busy collecting our things. The woman we saw in the morning was there and asked us to hurry up to get off while it was still 4:35 pm!! The assistant was getting impatient to clean the boat. FOR WHAT REASON IN YOUR OPINION? A group of 4 people were waiting for the same boat in order to do a "sunset" trip already planned between 5pm and 9pm!! Our captain was not there and even if it was another captain who was supposed to take them, we asked and there was no one! These 4 people of course paid for this trip. They had tickets in their hands (see attached). The organization that runs this boat (the captain(s), the contact Philip, the blonde woman and the assistant) does not care at all about customer satisfaction or comfort. No promises kept and priority to maximizing profits to the detriment of the customer! They are ready to promise you advantages that significantly impact your choice at the time of booking and then change their mind and cancel using pretexts! I advise you to be careful before renting this boat so as not to experience the same disappointment as us. I feel really disappointed when I compare the quality of service of the people on this boat to that of other people I have met during the boat trips made through the Click&Boat application over the last few years.

Great boat and crew. Fantastic stops and the crew were friendly. Minor issue with the toilet not working.

Great half a day cruise to Sivota for our group of 12! A big "thank you!" to Philip and the crew for their swift reaction and help in solving a medical emergency that occurred unexpectedly.

Our party of 19 adults and 3 children ages 12, 2, and 3 months had an incredible day! The crew took incredible care of guests who needed extra help❤️. We appreciated the special appearance of the dolphins at the end of our excursion. A perfect day!!!
