Itinerary

Starting location:
Doca de Alcântara, Lisbon, Portugal
Monument to the Discoveries
Is a powerful symbol of Portugal’s maritime heritage and its pivotal role during the Age of Discovery in the 15th and 16th centuries.
MAAT (Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology)
Is one of Lisbon’s most ambitious cultural projects. Its futuristic structure resembles a low-slung, asymmetrical wave, seamlessly blending into the landscape and inviting visitors to walk over its accessible rooftop.
Belém Tower – A Jewel of Manueline Architecture
A UNESCO World Heritage Site (Listed in1983), stands as one of Lisbon’s most emblematic monuments, guarding the entrance to the city’s harbour since the early 16th century.
25 April Bridge
Often compared to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge for its color and design, is one of Lisbon’s most striking landmarks – both an engineering marvel and a symbol of historical change.
Sanctuary of Christ the King – Lisbon’s Monument of Faith and Vista
Standing proudly on the southern bank of the Tagus River, a towering statue of Christ with open arms, inspired by the famous Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro.
Frigate D. Fernando II e Glória – The Last Great Portuguese Sailing Warship
Moored along the Tagus River in Cacilhas, is a rare maritime treasure — the last wooden-hulled warship built by the Portuguese Navy and the last of its kind to sail under the Portuguese flag.
Seixal Bay
Just a short ride from Lisbon, Seixal Bay welcomes you with calm waters, stunning views, and a laid-back atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing boat tour followed by a delicious lunch at one of the local traditional restaurants, where you can enjoy fresh fish, seafood, and authentic Portuguese flavours.

What a wonderful time we spent with Joana and Artur! The boat tour was really nice, the weather and river conditions were great, the boat was very comfortable and the fun facts about the monuments were really interesting! We couldn't ask for more. All of you that are coming to Lisboa should take this tour with City Lake! :)
