8h of sailing along the coast of Sada

The Sada Estuary, the nearby fishing villages, and the beaches are beautiful from land, but nothing compares to the perspective of seeing them from the sea aboard a boat.

Sailboat rental options:
Half day: 4 hours - €275
Times: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Full day: 8 hours - €495
Times: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Approach them by sail. We'll drop anchor in one of the many anchorages, and you'll enjoy a meal on board after a well-deserved swim in the sea. Afterward, you can relax on the teak deck before sailing back to port, thanks to the typical northeasterly winds in summer, accompanied by your family or friends.

I'll be with you aboard ITACA, my 12m sailboat that can easily accommodate six guests.

It's very easy to handle, even solo, and offers all the features of a cruising sailboat of this length.

I'll meet you at the access barriers to the port of Sadamar in Sada and invite you to drive to the private parking area near the boat for your convenience.

A typical day on the Sada Estuary can start mid-morning, around 11:00 a.m., from the ITACA square in Sadamar. In just a few minutes, we'll be sailing through a fantastic protected natural area, ready for adventure.

Families with children are welcome. Please let me know their ages in case we need any extra safety equipment; we'll plan the day with them in mind so they can enjoy the experience without any problems. I particularly love guiding them from novices to budding sailors as the day progresses and they help with the navigation by taking on small tasks I assign them.

The fishing ports of Ares, Lorbé, and Redes are within an hour and a half's sail; other anchorages are even closer if you'd like to swim and relax as much as possible.

For the more adventurous, we can sail out to sea and experience the Costa da Morte (Coast of Death) in all its glory. If we have a light lunch while sailing, we can even enter the Ferrol Estuary and enjoy one of the most spectacular natural inlets in the world, surrounded by abandoned military fortifications, and still return to port in time.

The day will end with a return to the port of Sadamar at approximately 7:00 PM.

When we discuss our day on board, we can talk about meal details, sailing preferences, and anything else you might need.

We can also discuss overnight stays on board if you book several days of sailing.
