Capri & Positano Experience – The Best of the Coast in One Day

I’ve never had such a BAD experience when booking a service. From the very beginning, the was disappointing. We boarded the boat 40 minutes later than scheduled, with no explanation or apology. That already set the tone for a day we had been looking forward to. We had booked this boat mainly to spend some time in the water and get off in Amalfi to explore the town, as we had limited days on the Amalfi Coast and this was our priority. The skipper — an employee — was very kind and explained that the plan was to go first to Amalfi so we could disembark and explore, and then head to Positano to spend the rest of the day on the boat in front of the town, without getting off. However, once we reached Amalfi, the boat had engine problems that made it impossible to get off. Unfortunately, no real effort was made to fix the situation or offer an alternative, despite the fact that this was the main reason we had chosen the tour. We decided to make the most of the rest of the day anyway, but the worst part came at the end. When we politely asked if there could be any kind of compensation for the inconvenience, the owner reacted in a completely unacceptable way. He accused us of “taking advantage” of the situation and even called me an “indecent person”. He was rude, aggressive, and absolutely disrespectful. It was impossible to have a reasonable conversation with him. I have never been treated like that before. The skipper tried to keep things pleasant, but the owner’s attitude was truly unacceptable. I would absolutely not recommend this experience to anyone. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OWNER RESPONSE: Premesso che la cliente ci aveva minacciato telefonicamente di effettuare una recensione negativa come se a questo suo ricatto dovevamo cedere e accettare la sua richiesta per paura di una sola recensione negativa che abbiamo e non è un caso se tutti i nostri clienti sono soddisfatti. Ci teniamo a precisare che quando abbiamo avuto un problema durante un tour siamo sempre andati incontro ai nostri clienti e non c'è mai stato un problema di tipo economico laddove c'era una richiesta di sconto. Nel caso specifico dobbiamo precisare alcune cose . Il ritardo d'imbarco non è dipeso da noi ma semplicemente dal traffico marittimo della piena stagione che coinvolge tutti i noleggiatori. Quando siamo arrivati ad Amalfi e si è presentato il problema dell'elica di prua ed essendoci molto vento questo non ci ha concesso di avvicinarci alla banchina in sicurezza per far sbarcare i clienti. Loro stessi si sono resi conto del problema e non ci hanno comunicato nessun malumore ma anzi siamo stati noi ad indicare allo skipper di farli visitare più punti possibili senza badare alle spese in più di carburante. Le comunicazioni costanti con lo skipper ci riportavano che i clienti avevano capito la situazione ed apprezzavano il nostro sforzo. Alla fine della giornata il cliente non aveva ancora provveduto al pagamento e dopo aver usufruito di tutti i nostri sforzi per accontentarli e ripagarli del problema avuto hanno avanzato la pretesa di risparmiare e a quel punto ci siamo resi conto che di fronte avevamo persone che volevano solo approfittare di un problema che avevamo avuto. A nostro avviso questa richiesta da parte del cliente doveva avvenire subito e non a fine giornata dopo aver usufruito di tutti i nostri sforzi ai quali loro hanno sempre dimostrato apprezzamento. A questo punto è iniziato il dibattito tra noi e Sofi che pretendeva uno sconto minacciandoci di fare una brutta recensione. Ci siamo così resi conto che il suo unico obiettivo era approfittare di ciò che era accaduto riuscendo prima ad usufruire dei nostri sforzi economici in più di carburante . Il nostro obiettivo è sempre quello di regalare giornate emozionanti ed accontentare i nostri clienti ma non accettiamo ricatti e approfittatori che non rispettano il lavoro e l'impegno altrui perché la nostra dignità vale molto ma molto di più di una recensione volutamente negativa solo per farci un dispetto .
