Vincenzo was our skipper for the day and he was amazing. His English was great so he told us all about everything we were passing, loads of interesting stories. We did the Amalfi coast tour and stopped off at a beautiful secluded beach for a swim, and went swimming inside a cave and a gorgeous little cove area with crystal clear water. Vincenzo played Italian music radio whilst we were driving, it was beautiful!! The boat was different to what we had booked but Vincenzo made the day amazing anyway xx

Given a beautiful day, I suspect it would be very hard not to enjoy a day on the waters around Capris. And we did; we had a wonderful time. We would not, however, use this operator again or recommend his services. Here are the primary reasons for our low marks. 1. We did not get the boat we chartered. I don’t know boats; the actual boat used may have technically been better than the boat advertised, but it certainly wasn’t newer, and it did not present as well as the boat pictured in the advertisement. The operator said that the boat we chartered was under repair. This claim was a bit difficult to believe because we booked the charter just 36 hours in advance. 2. Absent operator. The actual operator did not show. He was “on another tour.” Instead, he communicated by text and contracted a skipper to captain the boat. This was a huge problem (given the rate charged) because the skipper did not speak a word of English and could not properly take guidance from us as to what we wanted to see or do. Nor could he tell or teach us anything about the area. Making matters worse, texting the operator failed once we were on the water because we generally did not have a signal. On a less expensive tour (of which there were many), I might have expected to go along for the ride with little customization and little opportunity to ask questions, but given the price I paid to this operator, I found the service falling below expectations. 3. Absolutely Insane Itinerary decision. On the far side of Capris, my wife and I made a gesture to show the skipper that we were ready to eat. He stopped at one restaurant (to which you directly dock), but it was full. Then, for some reason known but to the skipper and God, rather than take us to the town of Capris (a few minutes away), he drove back across the channel to Sorrento, which is where we had boarded the boat that morning. It took us almost an hour to get back to Sorrento and 45 minutes to return to Capris after we ate. It literally wasted 1.5 to 2 hours of the day (as open-water channel skipping was certainly not our goal). Furthermore, the decision put us in a town for lunch that we had no reason to revisit. As we were leaving the island of Capris for lunch, I knew something was off and tried to stop the skipper from returning to the mainland, but he could not understand a word I was saying. He insisted on heading in his preferred direction. When we finally stopped in Sorrento, I was dumbstruck. Back on land, I texted the operator to let him know I was irritated. Rather than admitting the absurdity of the situation, he made some odd suggestion that it would have been difficult to get lunch on Capris. This was obviously nonsense. After lunch, we headed back to Capris and saw restaurants everywhere. 4. The insult. At the end of the trip, when it was time to pay for gas, the operator had the audacity to charge us extra for having made two trips to Capris. When I suggested to the operator (by text, of course), that the second trip to Capris was the result of a crazy decision by the skipper that wasted two hours of the day, he simply said don’t fight it. I didn’t, and I certainly won’t in the future. I feel somewhat bad leaving this review because we could tell that the skipper was a genuinely wonderful guy. He seemed like the nicest guy in the world — very eager to please. We tipped him, in fact. He was simply put in a position by the operator where failure to meet expectations was almost inevitable. In short, I would recommend finding someone cheaper or better. You could probably do both.

Unhappy people will always try to blame others for their frustrations. I will briefly respond to his accusations, I even have all the whatsup chats that prove the truth and I will be ready to send them to anyone who requests them. 1) My boats tour every day, the day before the boat had broken down and the customer had been notified of this, he was asked if he would like a full refund or would like to take advantage of a better boat for the same price: he decided to use another boat. Each skipper who works for me is assigned a boat, he is responsible for it, so the skipper who should have accompanied Samuel that day was busy repairing the boat entrusted to him. All the other boats were already booked but I personally took care of getting a bigger one with a COMPETENT skipper. 2 and 3) We are a very large company, I do not know what small activities the customer in question is used to but certainly could not expect that he would have to do on click & boat, on whatsup and on the boat with the same person: our staff it is very large, we have people who take care of click & boat, other people who take care of talking on the chat with customers, other people who take care of preparing equipment, drinks and food for customers and finally we have numerous skippers. Each of these people certainly speaks English better than Samuel and each of these people is highly competent in the work they do. I too, who am the owner, sometimes accompany customers on the boat, which is why I was on another tour that day. The skipper who drove Samuel's boat speaks English perfectly, I was contacted not to be a translator, but to clarify as Samuel kept changing his mind and demanding different activities every 10 minutes: He began by saying he wanted to visit both Capri and the Amalfi coast but then changed his mind when he learned that (obviously) we would have consumed more fuel, then he decided to visit the city of Capri (an activity that I had recommended to him) but then decided that first he would have wanted to have lunch at a restaurant where he docked directly with the boat; My skipper tried to explain to him that in Capri for that day they were all booked and that it was not possible to make a reservation in Samuel's name because he had not yet decided which tour to choose until the last second. My skipper suggested to have lunch on the island but he demanded a restaurant with a dock for boats. So the skipper was forced to accompany him on the Sorrento coast, when Samuel realized that he would pay an extra fuel for this request he began to say that he had not asked for it, but think about it for a moment, "STOP the boat, go to CAPRI" these are words that even those who do not speak English would be able to understand, it seems impossible that he was brought to Sorrento without his will. 4) the extra fuel we consumed was 60 euros, but I told Samuel to give me only 30 euros because my main interest is to make customers happy .. probably a person like samuel will never be happy. Our prices are slightly below the average for what we offer and no one has ever complained, customers can safely contact click & boat before booking, being a super owner, click & boat will guarantee my seriousness.
