Miami can be enjoyed all-year-round! But the best time to visit is from March to May as there are fewer visitors and daily temperatures remain warm.
During June to August, Miami is at its most humid and rainiest. There remains a possibility of rain and tropical storms from September to November. And from December to February, it is Miami’s peak season with many tourists and higher accommodation prices.
You can fly into Miami International Airport (MIA), which is about a 30-minute car ride to Downtown Miami. Or you can also choose to fly into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), which is 25 miles away, and about a 50-minute car ride to Downtown Miami.
The water temperature from November to March can be anywhere between 71°F and 76° F (22°C to 24°C). And from April to October, the water temperature can be between 78°F and 86°F (26°C to 30°C).
By land, it is a 170-miles and a three-and-a-half-hour drive. But make sure to check traffic conditions! By sea, it is hard to judge how long it will take you to get to Key West since there are so many amazing spots to stop on the way. High-speed ferries can make the trip in 3 to 4 hours, so timing also depends on the type of boat you are renting.
Haulover Sandbar, Peanut Island Sandbar, Crab Island Sandbar, and Nixon Sandbar in Key Biscayne are all popular sandbars that both locals and visitors enjoy all year-round.
Miami Beach thrives with marine life. You may see Bottle-nose Dolphins, Manatees, Sea Turtles, and many varieties of different types of birds and fishes.

There are a couple factors that influence the costs for a boat rental in Miami. Things like the boat’s type and age, whether it’s peak or low season, the duration of the rental, and if extras are requested like captain and crew, or water sport equipment.

Miami is the place to rent a boat with your friends/ family for the day. You won't be dissappointed
We cruised from Miami to Key West and back. Hawk's Cay was a nice stop. Key West was fabulous! They had not had 6 people sleep on this boat before, so bring a couple of extra pillows with you.
