How much does it cost to rent a gulet in Croatia?

The price of a gulet charter will vary from boat to boat. The time of year, length of rental, number of guests, and more will also affect the price. There may also be additional fees not included in the price, such as fuel, sports equipment, food, and more.

It is possible to find a gulet rental for as low as $350 for a day or $2,400 for a week. However, for the most luxurious gulet, it will cost $8,000 per day or $64,000 weekly. On average, you can expect to pay between $1,200 to $2,700 per day or $7,600 to $22,000 per week.

A gulet on average can fit up to 12 or more people, so this price can be split between guests making it a more affordable experience. You can also book during the low season and look in advance for discounts to try to be more budget-friendly.

When is the best time to go?

If you're a fan of warm sunshine, vibrant festivals, and a lively atmosphere, then the summer months are ideal for you. From June to August, Croatia experiences its peak season, with plenty of sunshine and average temperatures ranging from 75°F to 90°F. Dive into the sparkling waters, soak up the sun on the deck of your gulet, and indulge in the vibrant beach parties and cultural events that abound during this time.

For those who prefer a more peaceful experience with milder temperatures, May and September are fantastic options. During these months, the crowds thin out, allowing you to enjoy a more relaxed sailing experience. The weather remains pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 65°F to 80°F. It's the perfect time to explore the coastal towns, visit historic sites, and immerse yourself in the beauty of Croatia without the peak-season hustle and bustle.
