The welcome was excellent, and they were very helpful. The boat is very well maintained despite its age. It's very pleasant to sail. The engine is impeccable. One small detail: the mainsail doesn't slide easily. We had a wonderful sunny weekend and enjoyed every gust of wind, despite the light wind. Unbeatable value for money!
The boat perfectly met our expectations in terms of comfort, sailing performance, and maneuverability. We knew it was a bit dated, but that's perfectly fine as long as it's well-maintained and everything works ? There were some things missing. Three stoppers were broken, causing our furling genoa to drop while sailing. So we had to put the halyard in the stopper of the outhaul, which still worked. Everything should have been controllable from the cockpit, but because everything no longer turns and moves smoothly, that wasn't possible. For example, reefing couldn't be done from the cockpit, and I had to go to the boom myself to manually set the reefing line there. The mainsheet...the clamp is twisted so that it's difficult to release when sailing close-hauled if you lose the rudder... Boat including navigation? The navigation was broken. In my opinion, things could also be better regarding cleaning (including mold in the aft cabin) and communication (instructions upon arrival...we had to ask for them ourselves). But we had a wonderful week on the Grevelingen with a good wind, despite these points for improvement☺️
Brouwershaven is an excellent starting point for cruising the Grevelingenmeer. It's a small marina in a charming village with bars and restaurants. The rental base is very close to the center and offers free parking. It has a truly authentic harbor atmosphere. Jaap, the owner, is very friendly and helpful; he took the time to help us get to grips with the boat. The boat is easy to sail and seaworthy.
It was a super experience with a boat that was in top condition. The communication via chat was sometimes a bit difficult but it was a very positive experience for us.

Excellent reception, fast transfer. Nice somewhat older ship, despite a few defects clean and complete.
Beautiful aging sailing yacht that reaches nice speed. Everything worked properly. We will definitely return.
