Dubrovnik is a real treasure of Croatia. It is a city very often associated with the word wonder. Dubrovnik is incomparable and remarkable, as if going from treasure to treasure and always finding new reasons for ecstasy. As a bonus, its position in the south of Dalmatia is a definite advantage for renting a boat and sailing to the other Croatian islands that are often not mentioned in tourist guides.
A gentle and beautiful frenzy seizes the visitors entering this Mecca of Croatian tourism via the ACI marina Dubrovnik. It will become the starting point for your catamaran charter in Dubrovnik. Cultural emulation is a key principle in this medieval city, which is covered with architectural gems (Dubrovnik's old town, the walls of Dubrovnik, Pile Gate, Onofrio fountain, Rector's Palace, the Franciscan and Dominican monasteries, Sponza Palace, the Assumption Cathedral...), cultural events and pink tiled houses donated by Toulouse after the Second World War. After only a few hours, the word beauty is on everyone's lips.
Take the Dubrovnik cable car from the north of the city walls to the summit of Mount Srđ, 405 metres above sea level. The ascent takes no more than 4 minutes and on arrival the view is breathtaking. You will find the traditional roofs below, while the horizon is clear to see the Adriatic Sea, the Elaphite Islands (Šipan, Lopud and Koločep) and the island of Lokrum, ten minutes from the Old Port of Dubrovnik. Your catamaran will be able to cruise around and anchor in the bay while you visit a forest reserve well preserved from the tourist hustle and bustle of Game of Thrones fans, as Dubrovnik was used to shape King's Landing in the hit TV series.
Sunshine is rarely absent in Croatia. The catamaran will therefore soon be used to your advantage for the next sunbathing trip. Space, comfort, accommodation capacity, luxury.
From Dubrovnik, the most common route is up the Adriatic. However, heading south towards the beautiful city of Kotor in Montenegro will leave no one behind. Heading towards Split gives you the chance to add the islands of Mljet, Korcula, Vis, Hvar and Brac to your Croatian sailing programme. Further north, sailing to Zadar almost requires passage through Sibenik, Vodice and Biograd na Moru.
A week's cruise in Croatia is an ideal timing to leave Dubrovnik and let the catamaran excel on the water towards the Kornati archipelago, west of Murter. Interested in Italy? 107 miles are to be covered to reach Bari, in the mythical region of Puglia. The Albanian experience could start in Durrës, 100 miles from Dubrovnik. More than 1200 islands, several countries nearby, seaside resorts in profusion: the continuation promises to be royal.

Dubrovnik is simply a marvel. Its historic, natural beauty and the stunning Old City are only surpassed by the friendliness of its residents. We were skeptical of using ClickandBoat as we had never heard of this site and we are not from Croatia - but it was a highlight for us! Thank you so much to our wonderful skipper Dado!
A beautiful historic coastline with clear blue seas. A boaters' paradise with infinite number places to drop anchor and enjoy both coast and sea. We found Click&Boat a useful tool to avoid the tourist trap agents who are keen to take a commission. Straight forward and easy. We are now planning our next trip.
Dubrovnik coastal line and islands are great to explore by boat, there are hidden bays and small beaches with easy access. The sea is perfectly clear and offers many opportunities for diving, snorkling, an excellent restaurant on nearby islands with perfect traditional food and wines. Strongly reccomended - Elafiti island group - Kolocep, Lopud, Sipan, Jakljan and a boat ride below the Dubrovnik City Walls.
