Lefkada is a great part of Greece. Lots of small villages and beaches, plenty of hotels with great restaurants. Preveza airport very close by.

Great location for nice and easy sailing with short distance between destinations. Marina is well suited in the midddle of all adjacent destinations and in a waliking distance from the town of Lefkas with a lot of available services few meters away of the berthing position of the yacht

Easy access by road or airplane and very close to islands where you can start your trip right away.

As a main base it’s well equipped and even the marina hotel & pool are good for a few hours whilst waiting around.
Not somewhere to head to as a stop, but good to leave from and come back to.
Does have a lovely square with some cracking restaurants and the marina has everything you need.

Lefkada and the islands around have beautiful beaches - but if you travel by boat you‘ll need an umbrella for shadow on the beaches. You are allowed to travel and stop anywhere near the coast with the boat - just pick your favourite place and stay. Beautiful clear and blue water. I think we will do it again.

The weather is usually great for beginners, low winds and waves. We visited Sami and Astakos but then we ran into very rare unexpected winds and had to return. In Lekfada we saw a church with a mini-zoo and a nice viewpoint in the mountains. Great atmosphere but one evening in Lefkada is more than enough.

We had a lovely day at sea with the boat. Yannis is very helpful and explained everything to us in detail, simple and clear instructions on how to use the boat, where to go and where not to go. Great communication. We will rent there again.

Really nice and welcoming staff onboard. The only issue that I can say it was that we couldn’t go where we wanted to go and visit but I assume that’s part of a schedule and we couldn’t change much on it. Apart of that very happy!!
