About the experience

Three hours on the water at the best time of day, from Marina da Quinta do Lorde, aboard our Dufour 325 Grand Large with a private skipper. Up to six guests, your group books the whole boat.

We sail out along the cliffs of Ponta de São Lourenço and time the return so the sun goes down while we are still at sea. The departure time moves through the year, because sunset does. Whatever month you book, the hour you see is the hour that puts the light where it belongs.

Conditions permitting, there is time to stop and swim before the sun drops. Water, soft drinks and light snacks are included, and you are welcome to bring something of your own on board.

This is a sailing yacht, not a catamaran and not a motorboat. When there is wind we sail with the engine off, which is the quiet way to watch a sunset.

Dolphins and turtles show up often, but we never sell them as guaranteed.
