Description of Markus's sailboat
Sailboat Rivalbåtar Smaragd 10.15m
This is a classic and fast sailboat, the Smaragd! Constructed as a bigger cruiserversion influenced by the Olympic 5.5 class in the early 70's it immediately became a dreamboat for many sailors. It is known for exeptional upwind speed and angles while handling a lot of wind. You can comfortably sail in up to 35 knots of wind. The boat is in good condition and well maintained. I sail in the Swedish Smaragd Championship each year , so i ceep it in good shape. For this reason I will ask for documentation of nautic experience. The boat allows a group of 4-5 people at a time but if sleeping onboard we recommend not being more than 4. The boat is equipped with 4 (5) berths placed in the cabin. The boat is based in Bosön, Lidingö. With a second harbour in Furusund. Please send a request with the dates you are looking at charter and how many you are. Both Locations are accessaile from the airport of Stockholm. It is required to have a valid license to rent this boat. Great boat. Easy to handle and perfect for the area. Sails well in lots of different conditions. Markus was great. The boat was clean and ready to go. He helped us with route planning and had lots of helpful advice for the area!
