The Base Sous-Marine in Lorient is definitely worth visiting. The port that this boat is based in (Locmiquelic) is small with a couple of nice bars / restaurants overlooking the harbour. The facilities in the Capitainarie (toilets, showers) are modern, clean and well maintained. Locmiquelic has parking available, and the boat has easy access to the Rade of Lorient, Ile de Groix and beyond.

Very cool boating centre, much to see and do. We launched from Lamour Plage and you can head inland, up river, or take to the coast.
