Boat rental in Lorient · Jeanneau — Sun Rise 34 (1986)
Description of Marc's sailboat
Sailboat Jeanneau Sun Rise 34 10.55m
Hello everyone, I am offering this beautiful Jeaneau Sun Rise 34 sailboat for charter. Launched in 1986, it has always been meticulously maintained. These boats are renowned for their excellent seaworthiness, allowing for worry-free sailing. I recently experienced this firsthand during a round trip from Lorient to Spain via the Bay of Biscay last November, with gusts up to 40 knots and a choppy sea. The boat is equipped with a removable forestay and a staysail that attaches to it. The mainsail also has three reefing points. Both sails are new, as is the symmetrical spinnaker. You will not need to use the staysail during the charter period. This boat is available for charter without a skipper; I do not offer shared sailing. I require the skipper to have a good command of cruising sailboat handling, maneuvers, and equipment operation. This boat is available from the port of Sainte Catherine in Locmiquélic, in the Lorient harbor. You will have the opportunity to discover or rediscover our magnificent Breton coast by sea. The authorized capacity is 8 people on board; however, for your comfort, I recommend a maximum of 6 passengers. On board, you will find a swim ladder for easy access to the water, a removable dining table, and all the necessary electronic equipment (GPS, depth sounder, VHF radio, autopilot, electric windlass). It also has a motorized dinghy. Inside, you will have access to three double cabins plus two single berths in the saloon. It also includes a galley with a stove, refrigerator, sink, and chart table, as well as a head with a toilet and pressurized cold water. The galley is equipped with plates, mugs, ramekins, salad bowls, cutlery, a kettle, and a French press. The refrigerator operates on both 220V and 12V. The 220V power supply is only available when you are in port via the shore power charger. Electricity is generated by the alternator when the engine is running and continuously by two 100W solar panels. There are two 95W AGM service batteries and a separate engine battery. This equipment is new and was installed last fall. A battery monitor provides a continuous and highly accurate status reading of both the service and engine battery circuits. The inboard engine is a 27hp Yanmar 3GM, which will allow you to reach your anchorages or beaches if the wind is calm. Fuel is not included; we will arrange this at the port on the day of your rental! Feel free to contact me via Messenger at Click&Boat to discuss and best prepare your trip. Best regards, Marc

Overall rating
Marc is very helpful. The boat is exactly as advertised. New Navionics and VHF, well-maintained boat. We enjoyed a long weekend sailing trip. I highly recommend it.
Good boat, Marc is available and helpful, but his boat lacks maintenance.
We sailed for 3 days on Marc's boat, Ad Hoc. Ideal for sailing with 3 to 5 people, as well as for living on board. Boat in good condition with new sails. Thanks to Marc for this charter!
