Huge thank you to our skipper Marko! We were a bachelorette group of 7 women, and Marko did an incredible job coordinating the itinerary and organising reservations at beach clubs and restaurants — all of which were fantastic choices. During the day, he took us to beautiful spots for swimming in the sea, and in the evenings, he carefully selected calm bays so the boat stayed peaceful and steady overnight. The boat itself is very well equipped, with everything you might need — from an ice machine and large fridge to dishes and fun extras like pool noodles and a music speaker box. Marko was always friendly, approachable, and incredibly helpful, ensuring everything ran smoothly without ever putting himself at the centre of things. We felt completely taken care of throughout the trip and could fully relax and enjoy our time on the water.
Marko from Anchor Croatia, was the skipper of our sailing trip in Croatia, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He is incredibly friendly, easy-going, and always willing to go the extra mile. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. Whenever we mentioned something we wanted to do or a place we wanted to see, Marko did everything he could to make it happen. Thanks to his local knowledge, he showed us some of the most beautiful places in Croatia, far away from the crowded tourist spots. He always knew exactly where to take us based on our wishes and interests. This was truly an unforgettable trip, and a big part of that was because of Marko. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an authentic and amazing sailing experience in Croatia.
As our first experience in a 3 day trip in a boat, it was very good especially because of the dedicated attention and care and affability of not only Marko but also from Ilya. They are really great people and they took us to wonderful places!! Always caring for our needs. Both of them are great cooks so the food was a feast every day. Ilya even told us to shower and use the facilities of the different marinas in the islands so we did that. It’s a bit uncomfortable to share the bathroom in the boat Just a suggestion, the boat can be a little bit tidy Nevertheless the whole experience was wonderful I truly recommend Marko and Ilya Thanks for making our experience an unforgettable one !! Pablo.
Marko did an outstanding job in creating a personalized experience that allowed me to deliver my marriage proposal in the most perfect setting—far beyond what I could have imagined. His communication and patience in answering all my questions were exceptional, and he was completely transparent with no hidden fees or surprises. The boat was spotless, and the entire experience is one I will cherish forever. If I’m ever in Split again and looking to hire a private boat, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact him immediately.
Excellent boat, and an excellent skipper ! Marko was an excellent guide for us. Can’t recommend it enough 👍
Marko has been a great host. The four of us (friends) went on the trip, and we felt super comfortable with him. He quickly understood what we were looking for and adapted the itinerary to our tastes. Very attentive at all times and respectful. He also knows how to make amazing barbecues :) We’re coming back next year!
We loved our day with Marko! Very communicative, knowledgeable about the area and ideas on how to make our trip amazing. Highly recommend!

I am born and raised in Split, Croatia, and have grown up with the sea as my playground. I am 35 years old. After completing a Master’s degree in Economics, I have spent the last twelve years gaining experience in yacht charters in Croatia. As an adventurer, I adore exploring the unknown and filling my soul with amazing experiences. I have been driving motorboat and sailboats but I always prefer more sailboats. Sailing is a wonderful thing because it brings so many sensations into view. The rolling seas and the sparkle on the water in the distance, the wind on your face and in your hair, the sun shining on your body, and the boat gently heeling in the breeze while you are enjoying your sailing time. You sense a bit more freedom as you can go anywhere the wind blows you. Definitely regattas are one of my favorite things to do regarding the sailing. I did a lot of them in Adriatic sea. Since I was born on the sea, when I was younger I was sailing with my friends but last twelve years I was working as a skipper all around Dalmatian cost. As well as sailing and climbing mountains, traveling is my great passion, and I try to spend a couple of months each year getting to know a new part of the world. I've had life changing adventures such as climbing some of the highest peaks in the world, wandering through wild jungles, walking across hot deserts, and learning about the vibrant cultures of other continents. Definitely one of my bucket list things are sail around the world in my sailboat. My global travels and adventures taught me that with vision and hard work, the spectacular beauty of this amazing country is accessible to those seeking the sailing adventure of a lifetime.
