If you’re looking for beaches with soft white sand and tasty beach bars, head over to Ammolofoi Beach in Nea Peamos. You can have a relaxing day on the sunbeds or head into the clear waters for snorkeling where you can admire the marine life. Additionally, you can take your boat rental away from the mainland shores and head to the island of Thasos. A hidden gem within the Aegean Sea, this island hosts a range of activities in and outside of the water. While these additions increase the cost of your charter, they can also bring many advantages to your holiday experience. To begin, a professional skipper is familiar with the surrounding waters, so they will know exactly where to go and how to navigate the sea. This means that they can take you to unique and special locations that are less popular and also that they can modify your journey to your liking. On top of this, a skipper will handle all of the sailing, docking, and anchoring of the boat. Thus, you won’t need a qualified licence to enjoy your holiday and focus on relaxing. Last but not least, the addition of a skipper and/or crew can give you the ultimate luxury boating experience by cooking and cleaning for you during the rental period.

Kavala is an ideal place for boat rentals. The port is new and safe to park the boat. Thasos island and Kavala bay are the must-see places of the area. You can go scuba diving, fishing, swimming and have a variety of sea sports at the area. I suggest you should come to Kavala.

We went on a fishing trip to Thassos. Did not catch much, but weather and sea were great. We stayed at Limenaria and Nea Iraklitsa. Specially , second one is really nice with close restaurants and taverns. Marina is a bit small, but at this time of the year, there are not so many boats.

We made short sail around Thassos. It I was wonderful but the marinas are without electricity. People are friendly and helpful. I can recommend the main city which is called Thassos as well as Limenari. Not sure if there are good places for anchoring though. You should be careful with the fishing nets.
