A very lovely stretch to sail with possibilities to easily go and visit Ceuta in Africa as well as Gibraltar. Do to the heavy ship traffic and sometimes tall waves, it might not be for absolute beginners which we found out being there as beginners.

We had a lovely 3 days with Helia, the Bavaria Cruiser 37 that gave us all the comfort we needed. We asked Stephane to be with us the first 4 hours of the day to get to know the boat and he was very pleasant to be on-board with. After that, we headed to Gibraltar to stay for two nights.
